As a common citizen, I will judge any government by the change that its policies have brought in my personal life. I trust Modiji on this issue and this criticism is unjust in my opinion. Let me explain this though a personal anecdote.The security of the residential complex where I live is outsourced to a private security agency. Occasionally, the security agency changes the security guards. So, one day a new security guard was standing on the gate. This new guard was different. He talked to me in English with good confidence. Over a period of time, this man made a good impression the whole housing society. He told me that he has crores of ancestral property in his home town. He is a mystic doing such a low paid job only for EXPERIENCE. He is a bramachari and has lot of disciples. His disciples are in UK and US. He even showed me a few photographs of him dressed as a yogi and giving discourse to a gathering. He told me all these in a very confident and convincing manner.On many occasions he even tried to predict my future. This was the modus operandi of a typical baba. It was getting too much. Once he received a loan proposal for buying a JCB machine. The bankers have to go through various checks before sanctioning a loan. One of the most important check is CIBIL enquiry. All the loans availed by the customer though any bank appears in CIBIL search. So, if the customer is defaulter, the CIBIL documents show it. Everything was OK in this case, so the loan was sanctioned. On the day of disbursement, my friend got information that the loan applicant is a fraud and has availed loan from many banks. Even his photo as a defaulter was published by a bank in a newspaper. Since the loan was not yet disbursed, my friend’s job was saved.Why did the customer history not appear in CIBIL enquiry? The primary key under which a CIBIL data is stored is PAN card. A person cannot have two PAN cards (it is an offence) but getting multiple PAN cards is very easy. One can apply for a PAN online.
