How do I draw a psychrometric chart?

Refer-8 Steps to read Psychometric Chart , Psychometric Conversion Chart & related important terms. - Fastrackengine

Do you research?

Words like research are difficult for me. In a casual conversation, saying ‘I research psychometrics’ is correct for what I do. However, I don’t conduct studies or research people or events or things like that. I may say ‘I research psychometrics as a hobby’ but that still implies some level of active involvement in the finding of knowledge in the well of psychometric studies and knowledge. So, while saying I research psychometrics may not necessarily be incorrect, I prefer to say that I study psychometrics, in that I read studies and educate myself on the matter. I aggregate knowledge unto myself without creating new, substantiated knowledge.

Do smart people tend to be rejected by society because of jealousy?

I’d say high IQ people don’t actually get rejected by society. Instead, there is a well known phenomenon in the psychology of intelligence where people can only have meaningful connections with folks within 2 standard deviations (about 30 IQ points) of themselves. A person with the average IQ, 100, can only have meaningful connections with people 70–130, for example. That’s something on the order of 97% of the population. This communication gap is very stressful for people with 140 IQs and above (and it gets worse the higher you go) because there is only a small subset of the population that can have meaningful communication with them.Plus, I wouldn’t say society is the one doing the rejecting. High intelligence people have different needs for stimulation and they reject society because they’re bored. The primate dominance/power games, status mongering, and materialism that most people find meaningful just aren’t meaningful at all to most high intelligence people.——————————————————————————Addendum: this answer has been up for a year and a half and has garnered a lot of interest. I’m going to answer a couple of common questions/comments:IQ tests are invalid/culturally biased/multiple intelligences is better. All of these comments are just simply false. IQ tests are the most valid, consistent psychometric instrument known to psychology. The cultural bias they used to have was taken out over 20 years ago; they’ve long been culturally neutral. Multiple intelligences theory is well debunked for two reasons: (a) it conflates intelligence with talent or aptitude, which is not the same thing, and (b) people with high ability in one mental area tend to have high ability in others. This is why the notion of g, general intelligence factor, is the dominant concept of intelligence testing. The 30 point meaningful communication range is not true. Smart people can just lower their conversational level to match others. There’s a few problems with this:Doing this often comes across as condescending. This isn’t good for anyone involved. I’ve noticed a personal habit where I’ll inquire into another person’s level of education or ask a series of questions to pinpoint a person’s level of knowledge on a topic so I can adjust what I have to say to where they are. This can irritate some people as it comes across as condescending even when I don’t mean to be.These responses conflate the ability to lower one’s conversational level with meaning. In many circumstances, higher IQ folks can “lower” their conversational level, but in such cases the conversation often becomes unfulfilling to the higher IQ person, ie, it’s not meaningful anymore. For most people, finding stimulating conversation is not all that difficult. Higher IQ people can go through life with chronically unmet needs because they’re constantly having to simplify and talk on a level that isn’t meaningful for them. There are a great many topics that cannot be communicated to lower IQ folks. I can’t explain a Taylor series to the average person in a business situation to the point where they’d trust my knowledge unless they have previous understanding or they see me as a magical wizard that can just get things done. Earning the latter reputation can be pretty tedious and as it is for other wizards, fairly isolating.A new development here: I discovered Aaron Clarey’s Curse of the High IQ. He outlines these problems really well and I recommend it to anyone that wants to know more about this problem.
