I am from India. What can you tell me about the University of Guelph in Canada? What's the exact difference between studying in India and studying in Canada?

Thanks for asking! You didn't mention the study level, I would assume it to be graduate studies. I cannot tell you better things than Google and some other famous VISA forums. When I came to Canada, I didn't know anyone. I used to spend 3-4 hours regularly on various forums, university websites, Facebook groups on daily basis. So go ahead and use the power of internet. If your question was hinting towards job and other residency prospects, then I am not the right person to ask( being a student myself).Coming to difference in study, it again depends.1) Freedom to choose courses from a list. Easy Vs Difficult Vs Interesting.2)Professors rarely take attendance here, attending classes and learning something is your own choice.3) You will have access to software/computer engineering labs 24*7 365 days. You can sit in lab no matter if it is Diwali or Christmas. Nobody would stop you. For public holidays and weekend late nights, you can get a university based card which gives you access to labs just in case they are locked.4) Questions during the lecture are not considered as insult here, just raise your hand and ask. If still in doubt, every professor would love to help you out either after the class or in his office.Other tips:1) People here are extremely polite. "Please", "Thank You" and "Sorry" are the words I hear everyday. So yeah, please make sure you also have these words in your dictionary. See, please comes automatically when you live here. ;)2) Make local friends or other international friends. Don't get lost in the crowd of hanging out with your own people only. You will learn a lot of super cool things from them.Hope this helps. Goodluck!

First of all the old 56k modems were faster. the app stops, stalls, goes to sleep, freezes. I put a dvd in my player and it did a stop and start. it was a concert video but with NO audio. Depressing. But the worst thing was it had a HUGE watermark saying DVD CREATOR across the entire screen! Forever. For every @#$%^ frame!! It is snail=speed uselessness. Look elsewhere!
