Mimamsa is a science quiz conducted by IISER Pune. I wanted to spread the word amongst all the medicos through this platform. I feel it is a great opportunity to rediscover our interest in science, and will be a great challenge to undertake.It is a a three-stage Science challenge, organized by the students of IISER Pune. College students who are in the first three years of Undergraduate education can form a team of 3 or 4 participants and compete.The first stage, the ‘Prelims’, will be held online, on 18 April, 2021 from 10 AM to 12 PM . It will be an online test comprising of both objective and subjective questions with 4 sections (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology).The Second stage, the ‘Qualifiers’, will be held online for the top 50 teams, on 13th June, 2021.The final stage, the ‘Mains’, will be held later for the top four teams in August 2021.There are prizes worth Rs. 2,00,000 along with other prizes for zonal and subject toppers.There is no registration fee. You call it a flop show?? Were you "Celebrating" your b'day at home instead of "Indian Cinema" at Sparsh from 21st to 25th Feb?

G.K..my friend is a very vast subject.You have to be very competent in Static GK , current affairs and Factual Knowledge.There is no specific study material to prepare for KBC unlike popular belief.You can start by regularly reading newspapers, playing GK quizes on websites etc.Now coming to the procedure.Getting to the hotseat is a very layered process.You have to clear 4 levels prior to getting to Fastest Finger First.In the first level , you see a question on TV screen and answer it via SMS . It is luck based entirely because the question asked is easy and you get a days time to answer it. I for one sent a plethora of messages for the randomiser to select my number.If your number gets selected, in the second level, 3 questions are asked over phone. 2 of these questions are simple with options while the 3rd one is difficult and is without any options.Stipulated time to answer these questions I think is probably 10 seconds.If you clear the second level, third level is entirely the replica of the second level .If you clear the 3rd level, you get a call from the production house to appear for ground auditions which is also the 4th level.Ground auditions constitute a GK quiz of 10 reasonably difficult questions and a video audition/interview. If you clear this level, you make it to FFF.By the way , this entire process took about 2 months.Hope this answer helps :)
