If you are an Indian applicant:Most business schools will ask you to take TOEFL/IELTS. This is clearly mentioned on their websites.But, in most cases, if you will ask for a TOEFL/IELTS waiver, (sample below) you will get it. For this, you will need to furnish a certificate from your University.Unfortunately, at some business schools like UC Berkeley, you don’t have an option, but to take TOEFL. This is mentioned on their website. A waiver request does not work.In short, check with the specific schools what their requirements are. Hope this helps :)

Thor is definitely an alien … but he’s not illegal.(Speculating?)In 2011, before Thor left Earth, Stark Industries and SHIELD both offered to sponsor him for an EB1 Visa (“extraordinary talents”). To do so, he was required to furnish skin and hair samples as well as a full medical exam (including full MRI). General Thaddeus Ross, having completed his own investigation for the US Defense Department pushed the Secretary of State to agree to the terms because the US was interested in what features about Thor’s physiology made him so extraordinarily powerful.The parties agreed and Thor was granted the EB1 Visa as well as the expedited right to petition for permanent residence. In appreciation for his efforts after the Battle of New York, Norway, Canada, Australia and Sweden offered him permanent legal residence as well as the US. Lastly, Thor was granted special waiver in traveling to and from the planet Earth due to the supernatural and super-advanced technological capabilities he possessed as well as the pressing need to do so depending on the types of threats the Earth faced.

It turns out that our customer updated their documents to reflect the improved part, but we shipped the earlier version.To my knowledge, we had to replace the parts, which would be a hit to our bottom line. Rework is not cheap.(Side note: This experience inspired my first response in this answer “Steve Heckman's answer to What are words or phrases that someone in engineering doesn't want to hear?”However, our customer got to enjoy a year of enhanced FDA visits. It was described by them as the FDA was “living there.”Now, that occurred during my rookie phase, and the new, improved Steve would have done things differently.One: there are proper procedures to use such parts (deviations/waivers) where the customer has a chance to approve or rejectSecond: I tend to stand my ground. Yes, you don't die on every hill, but this was one that I would now do so.
