You don't have to be 19 to get your own flu shot. Look for another source: pharmacy, etc. Some are even cheaper than a clinic.

I believe the only vaccine a minor (under 18) can get without parent/guardian permission is Hepatitis B. If you go to your doctor and use insurance, your parents will have to give permission and sign a consent form. The same goes for any Pharmacy, even if you pay in cash. They will require a consent form. As you seem to be underage (based on the question) you won’t be able to get a flu vaccine without a consent form. Minors (with the exception of emancipated minors) cannot legally consent to anything. You may want to get the vaccine as you disagree with your parents and think it’s in your best interest. I commend you for this. You may want to bring your parents evidence and have a discussion with them as to WHY you want to get the vaccine and WHY you think it’s in your best interest. If they see you have done your homework on the topic and have a valid argument, you may be able to gain their permission . Good luck!
