Police Motorcycle Event: Fill & Download for Free

As long as the police are composed of young, reasonably attractive people, there will be incidents of some doofus doing something like having sex on duty.My favorite was a cop who rode motorcycles and met his girlfriend (not his wife!) at the rail yard. He pulled his police motorcycle onto the loading ramp, put it in an open boxcar, and then got in the back seat of the car with his girlfriend. About 10 minutes into the event the boxcar pulled away, connected to a freight train heading out of town. It took the officer about 40 miles to catch the train at the first stop and retrieve his motor.

The comparison of security for The Queen and the US President is very interesting, and many of the other comments cover some very important similarities and differences, but I have a personal encounter which provides an insight into the differences.This encounter occurred in the Summer of 1981 when I was given some tickets to watch Polo at Smith’s Lawn in Windsor where Prince Charles was playing. This event took place at a time when the US First Lady, Nancy Reagan, was visiting the UK, and she had been invited to watch the Polo as a guest of The Queen.Around lunchtime we heard a lot of police sirens in the distance, and shortly afterwards a motorcade came into view consisting of several police motorcycles followed by a couple of police cars, then two large black American cars with police motorcycles alongside, then finishing up with a couple more police cars and more police motorcycles bringing up the rear. This was the arrival of The First Lady and her entourage.Shortly after The First Lady had arrived, The Queen also arrived - driving herself in a medium sized family car (a Vauxhall if my memory serves me correctly) with one protection officer sat in the passenger seat next to her!I realise that the venue is situated in part of the Windsor Royal estate, so The Queen didn’t have very far to drive to the venue from Windsor Castle, but what struck me was the striking contrast between the minimal (visible) security for The Queen and the maximum (and very visible) security for our US visitor, who was not even The President himself, but only The First Lady.After the event, I also saw Prince Charles drive himself away from the venue in his convertible Aston Martin, with the top down, together with Lady Diana Spencer (as she still was then) sitting in the passenger seat, and with no protection officers visible at all.

Can’t speak for the rest of the world, but in my country, Malaysia, a police officer applies for the Traffic division after some time served as a uniform officer. Selection is based on a physical examination, and written test, along with interviews. After undergoing training in traffic law and riding, then passing, the officer will be assigned to traffic duties.These will include traffic control and management for daily rush hour traffic, traffic control at events and the like. Especially skilled officers will be assigned to VIP escort duties, considered to be the best of the police riders.Certain police riders will also be rotated to a police motorcycle acrobatics riding team, which performs during parades and public events.
