Thus economizing on the use of liquid fossil carboniferous fuels in our need to obtain supplies for our daily lives. The trend should continue. Rates go up every January .Unless you are a high volume business shipper, FEDEX is generally less expensive than UPS. UPS has unions and Fedex does not. Like many unions these days, some are grandfathered with higher pay, more vacations and better benefits and a pension. However employees that started after a certain date do not have all the benefits of grandfathered employees, if that matters to you.Fedex sometimes contracts out, particularly for ground shipping but also with Amazon. Build relationships based on what a person can teach, influence in the world or see more objectively rather than likeability, similarity, charisma or personal validation (within reason). Build alliances with people who possess power rather than have leadership styles I like.7. Stopped running errands. Dry-cleaning? Found dry cleaners that deliver/pickup at my house. Pharmacy? Mail order. Post-office or fedex? Buy postage online and drop it in with office mail pickup. Shopping? All online. Generally I always ask myself can I combine this "errand" with something I'm already doing or can I find a way to do this without driving to a physical location.
