Trump even has to override his staff with regards to granting security clearance to his daughter and son-in-law: Trump’s own Chief of Staff and White House Counsel didn’t think that it would be appropriate to grant them high-level security clearance.Trump himself simply would not qualify, were it not for his office.

They have none. The clearance and vetting process that the FBI conducts for White House staff is designed to reject potential staff who might be foreign agents or vulnerable to blackmail or other such niceties. You can't reject the President's children, so in that sense, it's a moot point (plus they aren't in meetings and shouldn't have access to sensitive stuff).The more interesting thing is that the President doesn't go through that process either. The FBI leaves that to voters. Now, theoretically the campaign process itself turns up every conceivable scrap of dirt on a candidate, but it's still kind of an odd quirk of the system when you think about it.
