When British troops first arrived, they were welcomed with open arms by Northern Irish Catholics due to their belief that they will bring law and order back to Northern Ireland.Northern Ireland at this time became unstable due to the nonviolent campaign of the Northern Ireland Civil Rights Association (NICRA) and the backlash it received by the unionist population. The unionist believed the NICRA and the civil disobedience campaign done by the Catholic population were attempts by Catholics to unite the island. The unionist believed their British identity was under threat and this led to riots by the Unionist side at these non-violent protest and the unionist protest led to attacks on Catholic homes and businesses and led to 1,000 families, mostly Catholic, forced to flee from Northern Ireland. This would lead to the Northern Irish government requesting aid from the British military.The army was welcomed by both sides, however, they proved to be a little bias and committing many mistakes in Northern Ireland. The most prominent, being Bloody Sunday, which was an incident in which British soldiers shot 28 unarmed civilians during a rally for Catholic civil rights. The total estimate is that the British killed 13 outright and one later died from the injuries and that many of the victims were shot when they were running away from the soldiers while others were shot when they were helping to the wounded. These events directly led to Irish Catholics believing the British army wasn't here to help enforce peace and led to increasing support for the Provisional Irish Republican ArmyI can’t be sure on what caused the attack by the British soldiers, but my guess would be that due to some of the protestors throwing stones at the soldiers manning their barriers and the inexperience of some of the soldiers led to these deadly events like Bloody Sunday and the Ballymurphy massacre. While some of these soldiers might’ve held prejudice against the protestors, I haven't really read of any of these soldiers harboring these prejudice.

Historically, Israel supported - and continues to support - the Iraqi Kurds.As for the officially recognized facts, Israeli politicians spoke a lot in support of the Kurds.Jewish organizations worldwide started lobbying campaigns to aid the Kurds in Iraqi Kurdistan during the Operation Desert Storm to stop the Iraqi government's persecutions. Israel also provided, through Turkey Kurdistan, first aid items to Iraqi Kurdistan, and Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Shamir, during a meeting with US Secretary of State James Baker called on the American government to defend the Kurds.Israeli media in 2004 reported about the meetings of Israeli officials with Kurdish political leaders when Massoud Barzani, Jalal Talabani and the former Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon publicly confirmed the good relations with the Iraqi Kurdistan region.The president of the Iraqi Kurdistan, Massoud Barzani answered a question while visiting Kuwait in May 2006 about the Kurdish-Israeli relationship: "It is not a crime to have relations with Israel. If Baghdad established diplomatic relations with Israel, we could open a consulate in Erbil." Israeli television has in the past broadcast photographs from the 1960s showing Massoud Barzani's father, Mustafa Barzani, embracing the then Israeli defense minister Moshe Dayan.In a policy address in 2014, Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu supported the establishment of an independent Kurdish state. He claimed that: "The Kurds are a fighting people that have proven political commitment and political moderation, and they're also worthy of their own political independence."In September 2014, following an ISIS offensive in North Iraq, the Israeli NGO agency IsraAid announced to provide urgent assistance to Christians and Yezidis in Iraqi Kurdistan, together with the American Jewish Committee. In October 2014, IsraAID agency provided humanitarian supplies to refugees within the Kurdish region of Iraq, fleeing the ISIL terror campaign. The IsraAid provided supplies to 1,000 families in Dohuk towards the winter, including beds, baby milk and blankets. The IsraAid assistance was provided in collaboration with the Canadian ONEXONE agency and was coordinated with the KRG. IsraAID's Founding Director Shahar Zahavi told Arutz Sheva that the Israeli team were warmly received by the Kurdish residents of the camp. By early 2015, IsraAid trucks provided 3,000 items to Dohuk in Iraqi Kurdistan, helping Christian and Yezidi refugees.There are also unofficial claims (and official denials) regarding Israeli military advisors in Kurdistan in the past.Why all of this cooperation? I can see several reasons for that:1. Someone in the Middle East who doesn't hate our guts? Priceless! Of course Israel does everything it can to support!2. There is a large Kurdistan Jews community in Israel, and it's quite a pro-Kurdish lobby.3. A national group that doesn't have its own state, and is hated and kicked around by the nations among which it lives? Sounds too familiar... Genetic memory, you know. Especially when Israel has problems with the same groups Kurds do.4. Purely humanitarian issues.

Why should they care in the first place?These accusations aren’t having any real impact on the Chinese economy nor Chinese well being or moral code. You can feel free to consult Chinese economists, party school teachers, Confucianists on these issues.Besides, China is already the bad guy according to the Western medium. There is no essential difference between negative 100 and negative 100-1.Lastly, this campaign against terrorism is like the game of chicken. The first one who stop the terrorism and cut cancer once for all by “violating religious freedom” is a “chicken”. The one who let street attacks happen daily is a “hero of democracy”. Then let them be the “hero” or philosopher kings or holy Jesus or whatever faces they wanna save. Let us laugh in bed at night instead.Unlike the framing from the West, the political campaign is never about Uighur or any ethnic group. It’s about religion in general for intervening society.There is no evidence to suggest Uighur’s majority are Muslims or Uighur is by definition a “Muslim group” or Uighur has to be Muslims in a so-called “Islamic ways”.The fact of the matter is, Uighur can be associated with any religion they want, considering that before they were converted by Islamic invasion by massacre, they were Buddhists for over 1,000 years and that till today a large portion of them are atheists, Buddhists, Christians, secular Muslims, Taoists, Communists.As long as they don’t fuck around with the society as well as force their family, friends to convert into a certain religion or a certain way of practicing religion, then the political campaign is successful. This also applies to evangelicals and all the Christian type of cults imported from the US.So the narrative from the West is precisely what’s going wrong nowadays in the world. There is no such thing called Muslim ethnic group or Muslim minority or any ethnic group with a religion #. Every individual is different. You are automatically a supporter of the religious extremism by marking one group of people with a religion by birth. This kinda thinking needs to be erased otherwise it will be the endless loop for religious fundamentalism in the world, including from those politicians who love to say: “God bless America”. I have seen or heard countless examples where lovers are forced to be broken apart, students forced to drop from schools, excellent career men and women leave their office, people lose their lives in Xinjiang due to some “legends” written 1,000 years ago.The reality is, you either step aside and act like a blind person, or you get in and take the blame but do it for the common good. If you can’t do either of them, at least don’t get in the way while others are doing it.To conclude, imagine this Uighur woman is put a black burqa on her face and body.
