As i have heard many stories , explaining about why Indian News channels are against BJP / Modi government, i understood some basic things which making news channels to go against Modi government.1. Present government does not entertain treating private news channels as VIP's. whereas other governments gave lot of parties , gifts , money and government facilities to keep them happy, so that they do not trouble unnecessarily.2. Present government uses Doordarshan / AIR to communicate with the people, this made private news channels to purchase news items from government, thus leaving government in profit. whereas private news channels started feeling heat when they were forced to purchase the news.with the previous government , private news channels got the news before the Doordarshan , leaving the DD news channel in loss and underrated.3. Whenever prime minister makes foreign trips , private news channels were allowed to travel with them at free of cost , and also respective arrangements were made to party and booze.But, they are not enjoying the same status now a days when BJP came into power.4. As it was in the news recently , about all those who were overstaying in the government bungalows were made to vacate the houses , and all those intellectuals who were enjoying government facilities without holding any government work / positions were shown the doors and this resulted in the rise of Intolerance Topic.5. Not only news channels , even intellectuals, artisans , actors/ actresses , big guys from corporate world , rich families having connection with political parties are against Present Government because of the status which they are not able to enjoy like before.6. In a Nutshell, present government is pro-poor and against VIP culture , so all VIP 's and all creamy people are against the present government.

Presently, the state taxes are not generally covered under these schemes.Beyond this, there is going to be no special effect; unless, of course, you count the possibility that the entire structure might be changed to something else, in which case we will need to wait and watch!
