What are the best ways to prepare for class 10th board exam (CBSE)?

I am going to tell you how I prepared for my CBSE Board Exam 2020.I will tell in detail for each and every subject. By the way I scored 93% this year so I am quite eligible to write this answer.1.English:There are almost 25–27 (CBSE has deducted some chapters for 2021 board exam)chapters in this subject so one should have proper knowledge of the whole chapter. For that you must buy a side book named All in One. It is a very good book with all possible questions and chapter summary which is very easy to understand. Some tips while preparing for English1.Start learning synonyms of different words and use them in your answers and increase your vocab.2.For writing section such as story you should watch good English movies and can use that story in your answers. Make sure your story does not exceed after 2 pages. For letter writing you have to memorize the starting of 4–5 lines which is very common and can be used in every letter to editor type questions.3.First read the summary of chapter then read the story. This method helped me and can help you also for better understanding of the chapter.4.For long answers question(8 marks) you must write answer atleast in 2 paragraph and your first 2 lines should be flawless so for that you have to learn some good English words.5.Some people find difficult to learn the difficult words so for that you must speak those words with your parents and relatives every day and then gradually you will learn those words.6.For Unseen Passage don't read the passage first instead of that read the questions and underline the keywords from the passage2.Maths:It is very easy and scoring subject if you spend atleast 2 hours daily on maths.NCERT and Exepmlar is sufficient for getting 100 in Maths. RS Aggarwal can also be referred for more practice. Some tips while preparing for Maths1.Never use calculator while solving problems.2.Don’t do same type of question all the time instead of that do a variety of good questions.3.Write all the formulas of the chapter in one page and paste at your study table. This will help you to memorize the formula fast.4.Never feel demotivated if you score less in school examinations. I myself scored less in school examinations but got 93 in my board exams.5.There is an excercise 8.4 Q. 10 in your NCERT book. Practice all the parts in that question because a 4 marks question is fixed from coming in the board exams.6.Don’t waste your time writing steps of construction. It will not fetch you any marks.7.Learn the trignometric table. It will help you in solving 1–2 question in board exams.8 . If you can't find the value of x and y in linear equations. Use cross multiplocation method. It is given NCERT.9.Learn how to make ogive graph because 4 marks question always come in board exams.3.Social Science:I used All in One only for Geography and Economics and Political Science. For History I only relied on my teacher's notes. If you are thinking of buying Xam Idea don't buy it as it has ample of irrelevant question and each chapter has has almost 100 question so it very difficult for students to learn and I also got demotivated after reading that book. Some tips for Social Science1.Write answer in points. For 3 marks atleast 3–4 points. And for 5 marks 5–7 points.2.Read the NCERT properly. Especially in History and Geopraphy. As it is fact based.3.Always use sub headings while writing long answers.4.Start reading maps from now.5.Watch video lectures on YouTube for better understanding.6.While writing answers in social science always start from Introduction and end with a conclusion.4.Hindi:In this subject I prepared a lot. For this you can also use All in One.I scored 96 in Hindi by using these tipsSome tips for Hindi1.Start learning new Hindi words and use these words in your daily life. You will surely remember the new words This worked on me as I started learning new words before one month left for board exams. But now you have ample of time.2.Works on your spellings. Most students commit this mistake and end up losing there marks.3.Read newspaper(Danik Jagran) to improve your Hindi. It will also help you for advertisment making which can fetch you full 5 marks.4.For Idioms(Muhavare) you should learn atleast 1 idiom every day and use it in your daily life5.Don’t neglect your grammar portion as it is very scoring with less effort.6. Learn the difference between शब्द and पद as in board exam it always come for one or two marks.7.Try to read paragraph ls for the most obvious topics which can be asked for board examsI. Global warmingII. Games and SportsIII. InternetIV. Major initiatives by our Prime MinisterV. Current Events and Happenings5.Science:This is a very conceptual subject so you must work very hard in this subject. I will recommend you to take All in One as it best for theory and all diagrams are also given in that with all types of practice questions. Some tips for Science1.Starts preparing for diagrams as soon as you can. Some important diagrams areDigestive System, Male and Female Reproductive System, Photosynthesis, Human eye, Electrolytic Refining, Excretory System, Nephron, Cross section of leaf, Dispersion of Light2.Try to learn answers with their important key words which CBSE finds in the student's answer.3.Read NCERT first.4.Learn all the different parts of human eye as every year atleast one part is always asked in board exam.5.First finish the last 2 chapters of NCERT first ie. 1) Our Environment 2) Management of Natural resources. As they are very easy topics and will build up your confidence.6.Practoce all types of light rays from convex and concave mirror as one question from it is always asked.7.Try to study science everyday.8.Never neglect your NCERT examplesSo, if you apply these things in your preparation. You will surely get good marks. And remember one thing never lose hope in life👍👍

What are some great ways to prepare for section A of the English paper for class 12 CBSE board exams?

Section A has unseen passages and poems. You can get samples on the cbse site, you can practice solving the previous year question papers. As for the techniques- what I used to do-Read the questions first.Look for the respective answers in the passage.Mark the answers lightly with a pencil.Try to do as much as you can during the reading time. Glance throught the questions first and then the passage. There is a question where you are supposed to find the synonyms of some word from the passage, for that usually the para number is given, so that is pretty easy.

How was your CBSE Class 12 English paper today?

I SCREWED the paper!Lets start from the beginning. Fifteen minutes were given for reading in that I read the paper and searched all the answers of unseen passages and was quite confident to score above 95 as the paper was extremely easy. At 10.30 I begun to write the paper. When I completed both the passages, 1 hour 15 minutes were already passed. I was SHOCKED! Then I found that I had assumed 1 mark answer to be of 3 marks one and wrote 4 to 5 lines in them. I thought that this will create a bad impression so I cut nearly 2 or 3 answers and wrote short one instead ( a pretty bad mistake). After completing note making and first 2 questions of writing, time was remaining exactly 1 hour and in that I had to do full literature and 2 big article and debate. Then I started with literature and left the poem extract to do it later(again a mistake) and completed it with nearly 5–10 minutes remaining. Somehow wrote the article and while starting the debate, invigilator took the answersheet. After the exam, I came to know that I had also left 1 mark meaning. So total of 15 marks paper was left.Since my childhood, I never scored below 95 in english exams and now in 12th I left 15 marks paper. It ruined my confidence to an extreme level, that the whole day went in regret( a big mistake again) and was unable to study physics which was given just one day gap. In the process was unable to revise some chapters (optics& electrodynamics) and it affected my physics paper too.So my advice for the future board takers is always check the weightage of marks ( although it is an obvious one) and if possible do atleast one sample paper and then analyse how much time should be given to different sections.
