It was like a Dream !! Ok I exaggerated but it was not too bad ;)PROS :-I was getting paid to travel the world and experience it for free.My salary was way more than sharma ji ka beta and that made my dad really proud ;)I have now been to more than 35 countries and did most of the things which were in my bucket list:)I personally loved my uniform and my red hat. It feels amazing to walk through the airports all around the world and people looking at you with awe *_*Living in Dubai was amazing,firstly because it felt so safe and secondly the party scene was amazing. Being an emirates crew we were treated differently everywhere, free entry in all the clubs and discounts everywhere.Banks would be at your feet to give you a loan or a credit card.Free tickets to travel all over the world for me and my family members . No I can't get you a discount please don't message me about this;)CONSLoneliness :- you hardly get to meet your family and rarely get to celebrate any kind of festivals with them. I have celebrated my birthdays alone a lot of times on air or sitting alone in 5 star hotel room .You make a lot of friends but they aren't really your friend. It's very hard to get similar rosters so you basically never get to see people you like because one of you is always flying.Health issues:- Crew is always having health issues some of them would be- constantly jetlagged,sleep deprivation ,crazy body clocks, no food or too much food, different time zones, flying over the poles and getting exposed to radiations ( more chances of getting cancer than a normal person) , pcos, varicose veins and many more.I have flown for a total of 8 years and I have met some of the most amazing people on board but also the meanest ones. You hear them yelling at you for something which is out of your control but you can't answer back so you put a fake smile on and go through it but yes it affects you because we are only human ;)But still I loved flying over the skies and travelling the world and it was a dream come true for me :)

Luckily I was attending the same event yesterday. So let me clear some air. Firstly it wasn't a full-fledged concert. The event was called Global Citizen Festival India. It was a fundraiser event with motives of achieving 3 of the Sustainable Development Goals given by UNO, i.eGender EqualityQuality EducationProper Sanitation facilitiesThe event featured various celebrities & politicians like Sachin Tendulkar, Ratan Tata, A R Rahman, Amitabh Bachchan, Aamir Khan, Shahrukh Khan, Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis, MP Poonam Mahajan, Aditya Thackeray, Milind Deora, Farhan Akhtar, Priyanka Chopra, Arijit Singh, Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy & many more. International Artists like Jay-Z, Vamps too performed in the event. But the performance by the legendary British Band Coldplay was headline of the event. More than 80% of the tickets were given up for free.Th Global Citizen Festival is an annual music festival established in 2012. Chris Martin, lead singer of Coldplay, is the current creative director of the event, and he will fulfill this role for the next 15 years.The festival is organised by Global Poverty Project, and is part of a continued movement to end extreme poverty by 2030. By contributing to charity acts on the website, including watching videos and signing petitions, fans can get free tickets to the festival. In addition, the organizers are striving to make the event "global" by live-streaming events in public locations. Since 2015, the goals of the festival have been closely aligned with the United Nations' “Sustainable Development Goals” , a "set of seventeen aspirational "Global Goals" to accomplish by the year 2030.Likewise our PM Narendra Modi too addressed the crowd through video conference. Earlier it was said that even he was going to attend the festival but I guess maybe because of the current ongoings in the country, he chose to address the event from wherever he was. In fact he devoted merely 10–15 mins for his address. So I don't think that it was unnecessary waste of his precious time. Being the PM of a country as big as India, he needs to take care of multiple issues & works throughout the day. He's one of the most busy persons in the country who works actively in different time zones. His address during the Global Citizen Festival was mostly emphasized on Swachh Bharat Mission. Giving a few minutes speech in such an event does not mean that he is not concerned about other issues.

This is actually a very common sell on college campuses and the sole reason for that is football tickets. Football tickets are often illegal for students to sell outright because schools need to make money and students often get tickets for free to make the stadium seem more crowded. However not everyone gets a free ticket which creates a large demand and supply on campus. But to downright sell a ticket is illegal and can get you ban from free tickets or even arrested.
