Both are remote controlled so the Officer does not have to be sitting right beside the Inmate.When deployed, the Officer pushes a button that sends a warning beep. It gives the Inmate the time to comply, and the Officer can stop the process before a surge of 50 to 80 thousand volts of electricity is going to start passing through his body within seconds.Once the process starts, it cannot be stopped. The Inmate will receive 8 secs of pure hell which in most cases causes immediate muscle contraction, sudden loss of mobility, falling on the floor, and often urinating on yourself. Some have even defecated.If the Inmate still does not comply after the initial 8 seconds, the process is repeated until the Inmate’s muscles are depleted of all strength or ability to fight back.In my State, if you are going to use a non-lethal weapon on an Inmate, you must be certified in its use, which means, you will have had those weapons used on you during certification.In our Academy it's called “Riding the Belt.”You have to have Certification in the use of Batons, Chemical Weapons, and the ERDs.Batons and Chemical Weapons are pretty mandatory Certifications in my State.The ERD certification is optional. It includes Electroinc Shields, The Belt, Personal Stun Gun, and Tasers.In the ADOC it is mandatory for you to be Certified yearly in Firearms which includes for us the 12 ga Shotgun and whatever Handgun is used by the Department.Alabama has an excellent Training Academy for the Department of Corrections. When I went through the Academy it was 14wks long. 24/5 meaning you lived in the dorm from Sunday night at 6:00 to Friday afternoon when you could go home to your family.

Simple….I would go to my local Ford dealer and order a new truck and a couple of cars….Then drive over to the Agco Challenger dealer and order 3 new tractors, 3 different sizes, then to the Agco Massey dealer and order a new combine (smallest one they make) a 6 row corn head, and a 20 foot grain head, and some misc tillage equipment, then to the Morton building folks for a couple new machine sheds, then contract for a lot of dozer work and tiling (land conservation) Then contract a hoard of local Amish carpenters to rebuild my house and outbuildings, the with what’s left buy some more farm land. If you haven’t guessed, I’m a Farmer (5th Generation) With the prices now a days for anything to do with farming, stupidly high, I could knock $10 million in the head easy………
