I was walking through one of Saddam’s former palaces in Baghdad when an Enlisted Soldier commented to me, “"I bet Saddam never thought American Soldiers would one day be walking these halls when he built this”. If you look at most societal problems in the United States, you will find that there is one single root problem that is linked to many of the other problems. That root problem either causes other problems, makes other problems worse, or the government’s attempts to help those problems just create more problems themselves.But some people… particularly politicians… are afraid of seeming too judgmental, so they’re reluctant to point out the root problem: the breakdown of the nuclear family.For almost every societal problem, the chances of someone having it increase if they were raised by a single parent. Problems like:Living in poverty.Failing to graduate high school.Doing drugs.Having a criminal record.Obesity.Becoming a single parent.And politicians have responded to this by expanding the role of government, to replace the role of parents. But the stats that they use come straight from the Census:If you really care about the problems facing the United States and you want to do your part to help, the best thing you can do is:Graduate high school.Keep a full-time job.Wait until you are in a committed, stable relationship before having children.Those three actions alone, most of which you can do before you’re 25 years old, will have the most positive impact on society.

The difference between these two political leaders is major.On the one hand, you have Donald Trump who became President of the United States simply by defiance. He was a businessman who once had the desire to enter politics.He had no real plans for the United States. Being elected was simply a challenge for him.In fact, his politics for the United States were totally erratic. His decisions only respond to his feelings of the moment. Donald Trump leads by instinct without any long-term vision for the United States.He only acts to serve his interests. The result is disastrous for the United States.Facing Donald Trump, you have Xi Jinping who is a professional politician in China. He climbed all the layers of the Chinese Communist Party before coming to power.Xi Jinping has a long-term vision for China. He wants to make China the first world power by 2030.All of Xi Jinping's actions are well thought out and aimed at making this goal a reality. Xi Jinping does not act impulsively like Donald Trump. Everything is prepared and anticipated.The result is that China continues to move closer to its goal, while the United States continues to be belittled by Donald Trump's deplorable attitude.We see here the difference between a great leader for his country and Donald Trump who has nothing to propose to make America better in the long term. China is totally satisfied with Donald Trump despite the trade war he is waging.Indeed, Donald Trump is finally rather predictable.China would prefer him to stay in power because his actions favor China in the long run. An election of Joe Biden would reshuffle the cards. China does not want that.
