PDF Editor FAQ

What did you post online that caused someone to tell you to remove it?

Several years ago I started getting certified mail from a check cashing company asking for past due payments for a loan they had given “me”.Since I had never used a check cashing service, I called the company and explained that they had the wrong person.Several weeks later, I got another mailing from a different checking service for the same thing only this time they threatened to sue me for the payment. Instead of hanging up, I kind of hinted that if they sent me a copy of the bad check they might get more help from me but not before.Eventually when these companies fail the first attempt to get paid, they sell them off at a discount to other recovery companies that might have better luck. When the third demand letter, from yet a 3rd company, tried to collect. I explained the situation yet again but this time got them to send ME a copy of the bad check. When the copy of the check arrived I saw that the mailing address was whited out and MY address was hand printed over it and the person applying for the loan had the same last name.So I did an online search for name listed on the demand letter and was amazed to find absolutely no hits! Nothing at all.So I did the only reasonable thing to help the checking company. I posted the following on MY own blog website (some parts x’ed out):XXX Recovery Services, IncP.O. XXXDenver, CO 80217RE: Ref# ——-21350422 - xxxxxxxxx F. xxxxx check forger/scam artist/criminalThank you for ignoring my previous response to your demand to pay but as I already informed you in my last response:THIS PERSON DOES NOT nor HAS EVER LIVED AT THIS ADDRESS!!I have no idea who this scam artist is. I assume he/she picked our address with a common last name from the phone book and has been writing bad checks all across town.As for your demand of “The decision is yours, PAY THE BILL”, well that just isn’t going to happen, at least from ME anyhow. Please proceed with all due haste and “proceed with further collection activity” because xxxxxxxxxx surely isn’t going to get the message at this address. If you wish additional information FROM ME, then please provide a toll free phone number or self addressed and postage paid envelope and I’ll help in any way I can, short of paying his/her bad debts. If you can catch this deadbeat, I’ll help you press charges, testify in court or personally beat the living daylights out of this person for involving me and my wife to this identity theft attempt.I look forward to your next communique. It didn’t take long before the scammer emailed me threatening to sue me in court if I didn’t delete the post.I told her (yes I finally had a name to) that I’d wait a while until the collection agencies stopped coming after me.The original post has been deleted and the scammer now has an online presence.

What are some things about food companies that they hide the most?

What they show on TV is often not 100% true.Actually, 99.99% of what we see in advertisements is not at all real.If you don't believe me, check out this list of examples:1. Antacid tablets are added to cold drinks to make the advertisement more sparkling.2. Dry ice or coal is burnt and placed behind the food, so that the food looks fresh and warm.3. Hair spray is used to brighten fruits.4. Glycerin is applied on drinking water so that it looks icy.5. Instead of maple syrup on pancakes, they use engine oil. Just imagine what it would taste like!6. Cardboard is used so cakes and pastries do not melt.7. Liquid soap is added to make the beer appear more foamy.8. Shoe polish is used to make the meat look fresh.9. Fevicol is used instead of milk for making it look better.10. Shaving cream is used instead of fresh cream on the cake.11. You must be looking at this beautiful ice cream, actually it is boiled potatoes.12. Lipstick is used to make strawberries look more red.13. To make hamburger look thicker and bigger, toothpicks are used.14. The same thing is done with French fries.15. And the ice in the glass is not real, it is all plastic.(As you can see, we have real ice on the left and fake plastic on the right)Incredible, do you think?Next time you see an advertisement about food, will you believe it? must comment.Source : खाना बेचने वाली कंपनियों की कुछ बातें क्या है, जो वो सबसे छुपाती है?

How does H1B visa process work? Is there any special quota for big companies?

Here’s how the process works:The company files a Labor Certification Application (LCA) with the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) making all the required certifications (as listed below). After the LCA is approved, the company files a Form I-129 requesting H-1B status for the employee and submits all supporting affidavits, documents and fees. After the Form I-129 is approved, if the employee is already inside the U.S., they are allowed to begin working on the start date; if they are outside the U.S., they are entitled to use the approved Form I-129 (and underlying documents) to apply for the H-1B.Here are the employer requirements:Proof of the existence of an employer-employee relationship - the company must have the ability to hire, fire, pay, supervise and control the employee’s work.Proof that the position qualifies as a specialty occupation and at a minimum requires a Bachelor’s Degree (or its equivalent - e.g., license, certification or registration) that is related to the job. The USCIS relies on the Occupational Outlook Handbook published by the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) in making that determination.Documentation supporting that the business has a genuine business need to hire the H1B worker.Proof that the employer has the financial means to pay wages for the foreseeable future. The ability to pay must be proven with the employee’s pay stubs or recent W-2s.Proof that the salary is equal to or greater than the prevailing wage. This is proven usually with a Labor Certification Application (LCA) - certified by the DOL.Proof that the foreign worker’s education level and experience are commensurate with the job’s requirements.Certification from the company that the employment won’t adversely affect the working conditions of similarly situated workers.Certification that there’s no strike or lockout implicating the worker’s job.Confirmation from the company of its legal obligation to pay the worker’s reasonable costs of transportation back to their home country in the event of a premature termination (but not if the employee quits.)Confirmation from the company that it is obligated to observe anti-discrimination laws with respect to foreign workers (e.g., no discrimination on the basis of national origin, gender, etc.).Confirmation from the company that it’s obligated to extend to the foreign worker the same benefits provided to U.S. employees (e.g., insurance, sick days, time off, stock options, vacation and any other benefits).Confirmation from the company that it’s obligated to observe the same policies, procedures and laws that apply to U.S. workers with respect to bonuses and promotions.UpdatesThe USCIS will begin accepting new H-1B quota based visa applications on April 1, 2016. The earliest date to start work on those visas will be October 1, 2016. As a reminder, the cap on regular H-1Bs remains at 65,000 and at 20,000 for US Master Degree H-1Bs.Please message me directly if I can answer any additional questions you have about H-1B visas, green cards or other related matters. Also feel free to check out LawTrades for additional help with questions related to H-1B visas, employer requirements and any related issues.
