Replacement Certificate Form: Fill & Download for Free

An education would serve far better, far longer than any temporary certification ever will. Certs are fine as an add on but in no way shape or form replace a formal education as certificates have a shelf life of one to three years depending on the cert. Is a certificate that is good up to three years something to base a career on? Not in my shop so I do not hire on certificates, never have. I hire on a combination of education followed by the appropriate experience.When someone brings up certificates I know they have little to no idea what they are talking about and a generally dismissed as a candidate. Certs are nice to have but rarely come up in the real world and are loosing cache every year.

Node will not be able to replace existing web frameworks that have great features and years of efforts spent perfecting them.Web Servers are exposed to lots of risks. Servers like Apache, IIS, Tomcat and many are very rich in features. Being Asynchronous is the only big feature that Node claims to have, but IIS already has Asynchronous ASPX, HTTP Handlers and asynchronous ASP.NET MVC Controller support. Entity framework and lots of windows API’s are now being created with asynchronous features.Other webservers also will soon support async API’s.Being able to run JavaScript on Server side was always possible in IIS as Jscript was an official .net language. And asynchronousity will come in IIS and other web servers pretty soon with JS.Web Servers need to do a lot more then just serve HTML.Such as:CachingAuthentication, various forms of it, Certificate, NTLM and SSLBandwidth throttlingUrl RoutingSession State Management through DBLoad BalancingMime Processing for UploadsPage compilation and execution with Security DomainsOne Eval could compromise the entire Node server, as there are very few features available as Code Access Security that are already available in .NET and Java.Node will and should get merged as just another feature of running JS on IIS, Apache and other Servers. As a Server Administrator I want node to be part of existing web server so that it can inherit my existing security policies.

If you understand the basic concepts of programming and data security, the language is irrelevant and you can pick up any language and start programming in it within a week.Saying that, if you want to go specifically into web development, you should look into PHP some more. You could look at job advertisements in your local market and find out which frameworks are more in demand there).Alternatively, instead of PHP, you can also look into NodeJS.For web development, you should also look into HTML (and find the differences between HTML 4 and HTML 5), CSS (and find the differences between CSS 2.1 and CSS 3) and Javascript. Once you understand basic Javascript, you should look into Javascript frameworks. Personally, I’d recommend starting with Jquery and then progressing to Angular and/or React. You should also look into SVG and what advantages it might offer.Hope this helps :-).
