Reasons for China moving Backward after initial gains:1962 war was an excuse for China to project power in Asia. It wanted to show that China isn't someone you could easily trifle with. They already achieved that by showing India their supremacy in arms and training.India started recieving support from USA, Britain and USSR. If it was prolonged, the move might have backfired. China didn't wanna risk it and make itself a target for all foreign powers.With winter setting in rapidly and given the PLA’s extended and tenuous supply line, it would have been extremely difficult to maintain troops across and far south of the McMahon Line. At that point it was easier for India to mobilise larger forces including heavy artillery and tanks. With winter approaching Chinese forces would have been, for the first time, in a precarious and disadvantaged position. While Indian troops might not have fought well on the high mountains, nevertheless they would be more than a handful if fighting took place on the plains. The outcome may not have been as predictable as before.As war moved into plains, Chinese forces were easy targets for Indian Airforce which wasn't used before. Initially, India didn't use airforce due to lack of oversight but more push would have left them no choice.So after initial power projection Chinese unilaterally withdrew their Army without any significant gain on ground.That war finally made Indian Army and political leadership change for better. Glad we got that lesson.

Although the paper is on 4th Feb i.e. tomorrow, I am writing this answer because lot's of things are going in everyone's mind (me too) today like :Tomorrow what will going to happen. This is the most enjoyable fear. Why ? because uncertainty is linked with it. It's not in your hands. Only The Almighty knows.Whether I am going to make it or not. Fear of losing. Why? Because you have prepared a lot, Spent sleepless nights on it, experienced heartbreaks while scoring low in mocks, solved 1000+ questions, revised again and again.Most important: What should I do right now. Some would be revising, some would be giving mocks, some would be chilling just to reduce stress like me (i am writing here) .we all have studied a lot but still feel void somewhere. It's completely normal and That's the sign of a dedicated student.I have listed down only a few but you can relate yourself with the above point. Whether you are a college-going final year student, or a professional one, or a dropper, if you are serious about the exam, then we all are on the same platform today.Now, what is going to happen the next day, I don't know one thing which you all need to cherish or celebrate today is our journey till now.Besides having trouble related or unrelated to the exam (stress level ++ ) you haven't given up.Having low marks in mocks (stress level ++ ) you didn't give up.Your friends were getting higher marks than you (stress level increased exponentially ) still you didn't give up.Being an average, you tried, failed, cried, thought of quitting but You didn't give up.With all there circumstances, you crossed all hurdles and reached the finish line. It's an achievement ( for me it's definitely). That's also what INTP gifted for, isn't it?What I do today as the Managing Director of the Company?I sit, reading Quora, pondering the MBTI which is my deepest interest, provide trouble shooting in the meeting, follow the cash flow trend line, make future forecasts, make plans, and then throw it to my ENTJ GM.He loves me for my brilliant resolutions, detailed future planning, accurate analysis, sixth sense to foresee an out come plus finding out challenges before we even get there plus plus an objective leader who didn't take every harsh words personally plus plus plus a laid back leader who never jump in to his leadership plus plus plus plus a best friend.I love my ENTJ GM for he is a man who 'find a way or make a way'.I just relax in my office then achievement report suddenly come to my mailbox.Do I need to make decisions as the leader of the Company? No no no, not at all. I bring some options to choose, with complete analysis and forecast, and then leave it to my ENTJ 'Commander' to pick one best decision for his battalion. What if he got his own option? No problem! I would love to listen and analyze. We can have deep discussion objectively, free of personal feeling. I am the best boss he ever had.So think 10 times before you decide to hire an INTP. When you dismissed one, pray that he/she will get an employment soon or else you will add one unnecesessary adversary to your Company… very soon.
