I would suggest looking outside of the major cities, once of course you have looked at the touristy things that are in the cities.ACT - Canberra has some interesting places to visit, Questacon, War Memorial, Parliament house, National Gallery, Telstra tower to get a look at the city from up highNSW - Outside of Sydney you have two major cities one to the north once to the south, to the south is Wollongong (And many other towns to visit like Gundagai and the Dog on the tuckerbox statue, Wagga Wagga or Wagga if you want to sound like you know where you are going) to the North is Newcastle and the Hunter Valley (wine country) West of Sydney you have the Blue Mountains and Bathurst home to one of our most famous car races, you can even drive around the track. if you venture further west there is Dubbo (Western Pain Zoo is a must) and Broken Hill. There is also Tamworth (North west) home of the big golden guitar and country music.NT - The red center, the rock, yeah it’s in the middle of nowhere but something you must experience in person, Alice Springs and Darwin of course and a trip to Kakadu national park. Lots and lots of red dirt that does not come out of clothing, don’t wear whiteQLD - Theme parks, beaches, Australia Zoo (if you are lucky you might see the Irwins) Fraiser Island (and it’s Dingos) Great Barrier Reef. Also keep driving north, and keep going, and going, and going, just keep in mind when it says don’t swim because of crocodiles, don’t swim, it’s not just there to stop you loosing a toe or two and check at the local information centre about Box Jellyfish and what to do if stung.
