My ex wife works in a school. The academic year 2017–2018 they had a child turn up who was still wearing a nappy (aged 4).As soon as this was discovered, the child was sent home again.Potty training should ideally be complete by the time a child is 2.5 - 3 years old. The school are not trained in changing nappies/diapers and lack the facilities, time, and staff to do so. (Changing a nappy/diaper requires two staff to be present due to safeguarding rules.)What actually happened in this particular case was that a potty training specialist (who knew such a job exists?) was sent to the child’s home for three or four weeks during the daytime and taught the child and mother to get him to use a potty and then the toilet at home. Once this was completed, the child was readmitted to the school.If a child has developmental problems, they would likely not be admitted to school until they were five years old, and would probably either be admitted to a specialist school, or would come with their own support worker so that regular staff can deal with the rest of the children.(Please note, I am only writing about the circumstances in London, England. Different practises may apply elsewhere.)

Applied for Infosys. Practiced aptitude test questions in hundreds of quantity. Simultaneously brushed off concepts learned in 3 years of engineering for the interview.15 September 2018My first ever aptitude test. That too for Infosys!Reporting time: 8 amAnd after waiting of 11.30 hours, my number came for appearing for the test. All these 11.30 hours, I was continuously revising formulae, different types of sums. Fuel for the body for whole day was a small packet of chips, a cup of coffee and 4–5 biscuits.8.45 PMCame out of exam lab. I knew I had rocked the exam.Fast forward,Cleared aptitude test with 99th rank among 362 people clearing out of 1436.Next day, InterviewMy first ever interview. Throughout my interview, the manager who was interviewing me, looked satisfied.22 September 2018Got this on my phoneAnd the cherry on the cake wasOut of 289 students finally selected by Infosys, my rank was 40th.Please don't laugh or make fun of your friends when they taste a failure. My dear roommates, this was for you!I know, this is just a beginning. I have lot to achieve. My dream is to become an army officer. Going to write my first attempt of CDSE in November 2018.
