Get rid of the “automatic” part of automatic payroll taxes. Also get rid of the employer-paid portion of Social Security. If you make $15 an hour and work for 40 hours a week, you should be paid $2,400 for the month. Then the IRS will send you a bill for local, state, and federal income taxes, Social Security taxes (including the employer-paid portion), Medicare, Medicaid, etc… Make people write a check greater than their rent check straight to the government every month, and watch how quickly people demand a smaller, less wasteful government.Legalization of marijuana, prostitution, and physician-assisted euthanasia.Allow “fluid” forms for all demographics. Actually, there’s nothing stopping people from doing this now. If even 20% of the population started labeling themselves as “racially fluid” or “immigration status fluid,” identity politics would become pointless. Every time you have to fill out a demographic form for the government, pick new demographics for yourself. If challenged, just say you’re “fluid” in those areas.Body cameras for all government employees who interact with the public, particularly police officers and teachers. The cameras must be worn and on whenever the person is on duty and not using the bathroom. Videos from those cameras should be available to the public if requested.A 1:1 tax reduction (not deduction) when you pay for something for yourself that the government also provides, like private school. Within reason, of course. Like, your reduction can’t be more than 25% of your total tax bill. Do you owe $10,000 in property taxes, which fund the local schools in your area? You may reduce what you owe by $2,500 if you send your child to a private school.

I am not in support of increase in retirement age of Central Government employees.I would rather like the retirement age to be reduced to 50–55 years, similar to Army.The officers must be allowed to continue after the age of 50 years, only if they are outstanding.In the present system, everyone gets time-bound promotion batch-wise irrespective of merit or performance.And in order to give everyone promotion, Government has become too top heavy, and most of the senior officers have no work at the top.Let me give you an example of IPS (Indian Police Service).A few decades ago, the Police force of a State would be headed by an IG rank officer and there will be around a dozen DIGs of the Range and one SP in each district.Now the situation is that all IPS officers get promoted to DIG after 14 years and hence, if you take 35 years of average service for an IPS officer, he/she would be spending next 20 years on the rank of DIG and above. There are hundreds of posts of DIG/IG/ADG/DG in every State, and most of them have little or no work.I was told by one of my IPS friends of MP cadre that there are around 60 posts of ADG alone in MP (half cadre posts and half ex-cadre posts), while the number of districts in MP are around 50 only. Most of these IPS officers have no work while a large number of posts are vacant at the SP and below level.The same scenario exists in all departments including IRS.There would be more than 400 IRS officers of Commissioner and above rank in a single city like Mumbai and Delhi. They have very small jurisdiction, almost same as that of an Assistant Commissioner had just a decade ago. In a single Customs post like Navha Sheva, there would be more than a dozen IRS officers of Commissioner and above rank, while one Commissioner is more than sufficient for the job.I, therefore, suggest the Government to reduce the retirement age to 50 years or 20 years of service. Thereafter, only the best officers must be promoted at senior positions purely on merit.We can devise a suitable mechanism to judge the performance independently, which does not involve politicians and have objective criteria for assessment.
