Firstly, this case was filed on the basis of a private complaint of Subramanian Swamy. It is not filed or investigated by police or CBI. So, a private individual has his own limitations in proving the case.Yet, with his limited resources (unlike the resources that police or CBI would have if they had investigated the case and charge-sheeted it), Dr. Swamy has been vigorously pursuing this case in the court and has given whatever evidence he could collect in his individual capacity.Secondly, please appreciate that there are huge delays in the Indian judicial system. Cases take not merely years, but even decades, to get decided. Even the most important terror case of Mumbai bomb-blasts in 1993 took more than 20 years. One of the biggest financial scams, Harshad Mehta scam cases also took more than 20 years and some of these cases are still continuing. These are just a few examples.One must understand that even if there is strong evidence in a case, the case has to be proved in the court by the formal procedure laid down in laws. Accused persons can generally be sent to jail only after conviction. Before conviction, during the trial stage or during investigation stage, if the accused persons are arrested, they are generally released on bail. Many a time, even after conviction by the court and awarding of the sentence of imprisonment, accused are granted bail during the pendency of the appeal.In the National Herald case also, bail has been granted to the accused persons during the pendency of the case.Particularly, in the National Herald case, due to involvement of high-profile VIPs (or should I say VVIPs?), best lawyers in India are engaged. At every drop of the hat, on small-small issues, the matter is challenged in different higher courts, going up to the Supreme Court. So, naturally, this causes a lot of delay in the proceedings, over and above the delay that is caused in normal cases.The private criminal complaint was filed in this case by Dr. Swamy in 2012 in the magistrate court. The Magistrate found a prima facie case and therefore, summoned accused persons including Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi. This was challenged before High Court and Supreme Court. At present, as far as my information goes, the case is still stuck in initial issues and the regular evidence recording is yet to begin.So, the case may take quite some time to complete. Meanwhile, Sonia Gandhi and Raul Gandhi are both on bail in this case.Similarly, the cases against Robert Vadra are yet to be completed. They are still pending.

I very much doubt the unredacted version is going to be leaked at all.Right now, the only people with the report are Mueller’s team (who aren’t going to start leaking now) and Barr (who isn’t going to start leaking at all)Congress will subpoena the report, but whatever version they get (after however long it takes to wrestle it out of Barr’s office) will be heavily redacted by DoJ’s attorneys. This version will be leaked by someone in Congress, but won’t answer any questions.Congressional Democrats will continue digging for individual redacted portions of the report, at least until November 2020. For me, it is worth it, especially if the manga that you want to buy and collect is of your favorite series. Not only does it support your favorite series, it helps the manga artist of your favorite series survive. I don’t know how much an artist gets from translated manga sales, but still, the original Japanese volumes give them more profits.And so, despite not being able to read and understand Japanese, it is important to support your favorite author/series by actually buying the manga volumes.
