What are some of the toughest chess puzzles?

Well, I can actually search Chessworld puzzles by difficulty, and here are some of the hardest by one of my former Admin Phillip Dodderidge (RIP).Not really that hard ….For really hard “Puzzles”, one would check the world of compositions, but for me personally, I do like to be able to solve them sometimes and I prefer just Puzzles especially if they come from real master games. A lot of these puzzles do actually come from master games.White to play and winBlack to play and winWhite to play and winBlack to play and winBlack to play and winWhite to play and winWhite to play and winHave fun with the above! Chess: Have you ever lost a winning position? How?

I have lost more winning positions than I can count, but I’ll tell you about my worst loss ever. The game was played in the Gausdal Classics in Norway in 2007 and my opponent was a Swedish player named Lars Olsson (if you’re reading this, Lars, your name still sends chills down my spine). We were both rated around 2000. I think he outrated me by around 50 points. I was playing white.1. e4 c5 2. Nf3 e6 3. d4 cxd4 4. Nxd4 Nf6 5. Nc3 h5?? (diagram)My god, what a crappy opening line! The funny thing is, Lars had been playing this in all his black games throughout the tournament. I believe it’s his specialty, and it’s something few sane players, if any, would ever adopt. He had somehow gotten away with it so far, even though his opponents had starting preparing for it. I decided to refute this madness.6. Ndb5 d6 7. Bf4 e5 8. I might have attacked the wall as well, I don’t really remember.Eventually, I realized my clock was still running, so I went back down and resigned the game, while apologizing to to my opponent. He turned out to be a nice guy off the board, and told me he would have been just as angry as me. I shrugged off the loss, and won my last round game in great style the next day.But I still haven’t forgotten!

Has Stockfish ever been beaten?

Well to beat engine with rating 3400+ for humans it would be out of imagination whereas to achieve draw is more realistic approach although this still looks impossible,I try to do this and I achieve it, I set up game at Tournament Time controls with following conditions 1)100min for first 40 moves +30 sec starting from move 1 2)50 min till move 60 +30 sec 3)15min for rest of game +30 sec so after each move an additional 30 sec was added it was plenty of time.
