You can offer a face shield in lieu of a face mask or suggest a different type of mask. You can offer to collect the books on their list and bring them to their car for them. You might need to have a face shield available if you offer face masks, but I don’t think you would need to have to have on hand every possible configuration of face mask. This is reasonable accommodation. And if they refuse your reasonable accommodation, you have the right to refuse them admittance.And no, allowing them to put other patron’s lives at risk by running around bare faced is not a reasonable accommodation. You have a responsibility to other patrons as well. This is where there can be problems sometimes. If you have a customer who needs a service dog, and one who needs a dog-free environment there’s going to have to be some give and take. Airlines run into this kind of thing and usually someone gets re-scheduled at no penalty. Reasonable accommodation means reasonable for everyone, and right now free-roaming bare faced is not reasonable.
