PDF Editor FAQ

Do you ever feel guilty for rejecting someone?

Always !There are basically two reasons for such guilt. First, I don't consider myself that superior and extraordinary to hurt someone’s true and genuine feelings towards me. I have no right to hurt people. But still I do. Why wouldn't I feel guilty ? And second, rejection hurts. I can't live peacefully after knowing that I have hurt someone. My one step might change someone’s perspective in a bad way. This isn't something to be proud of.I do feel bad. I make people feel bad. But nothing can be done as we all are puppets in the hands of circumstances.:)

Was Boris right by not granting the SNP another referendum?

As of today’s date Boris Johnson is firm that there will not be another referendum. However, I suspect (as with so many things) his view on this will change. If you put a gun to my head, I would say there is a reasonably good chance that there is some agreed compromise whereby IndyRef2 takes place in the summer of 2023 - around 12 months before the next UK general election.Legally, the PM is on solid ground. Politically is another matter. In my heart of hearts I don’t believe that in a fair vote Scotland would vote for independence (although I famously said the same about Brexit and was wrong…). But the longer Boris Johnson argues against even holding the referendum, the more it looks like he is afraid of a vote that the unionist would lose. Eventually that political pressure becomes irresistible.Personally, I’d suck it up and let Scotland vote again. Not now - when we are still wrestling the pandemic and its aftermath. But in two years, and well ahead of the next general election - let’s put this thing to the vote. But this time let’s be explicit: if the Scottish vote to remain in union, we are not doing another referendum until 2050 at the earliest. Otherwise we are going to have the SNP bleating “change of circumstances” every six years from now till eternity.

Last week I was denied a B2 visa. I'm going for a pre-college program (it's a short non-credit course) at a university. Can I reapply?

You can apply for a visa as many times as you like but if you were previously denied and you do not present evidence of a material change of circumstances since the last time you applied and were denied, you will likely be denied again, and again, and again…
