Unlike ground there are no certain roads or paths which a drone pilot can follow. So it has to be well planned when going from one place to another place. Which makes it complex and totally messed up situation for avoiding mid air collisions. The autopilot algorithm exist which provide avoidence, but they are not implicated globally. Each company making drones with their own specs. There is no general management software set, or adopted by these companies, which will ensure traffic management or tracking in upcoming future. Agencies and FAA are working on such proposal but unsure about when and how long it will take to implicate in drone industry. So that's the real pain in ass for current drone market. Either it's small unmanned civil or human taxi drones.Policies, each country is working on their own drone policies. They're different based on geography, purpose or size of drone. Which again create complexity for drone companies and owners who want to operate them. Also many countries have not even started to regulate or think about drone policies. So it has long way to go.I would say next 4–5 years are crucial for drone industry specifically in flying taxi services.
