Yes. I am dropping it. Although aiims is still left, but i don't have such high hopes from it. Was quite happy when i gave Neet-2018. It felt as if finally my dream of becoming a doctore would be accomplished, but when came back home and tallied the answers the score came out to be 502. :( Since i belong from UP, the cut off is pretty much high and a minimal of 530+ is needed to be on the safer side.Now, where did i go wrong? Physics. Wasted a lot of my time in solving physics (elated that physics section is really nice, as it was). When i looked at the clock i had just 45 mins left. Well, i had done bio in the first half an hour of the commencement of exam, but due to time limitations i had not marked the answers on OMR sheet because i was thinking of reviewing it once again. But after seeing that only 45 mins were left and the invigilator coaxing me into filling the OMR first,i skipped all the questions that i had kept for review and marked them as they were.Consequence? That took a heavy toll on my paper. Major negatives in bio. :( Also panicking and the pressure to complete the paper, all this has to be dealt with in a really proper way.Selection is not just about studying hard. It is equally about performing in the most fit way.Sad but true. There is no escape from one's failures. Only improvement of skills can help one to achieve their goal.

Do you know this guy?He is Dr. Rajendra Bharud, IAS 2012 batch currently posted as Chief Executive Officer in Solapur district council.I met him a few days ago. My father is a teacher and Bharud sir was going to take a seminar for all the teachers in our Tehsil. He briefly told his own story as,He is from a tribe called as 'Bhill' and his family ran a small liquor business. He had to help his mom and attend school as well. No one from his family had gone to school ever and surprisingly his mom wanted him and his sister to get educated (his sister dropped out at her own will) She supported him throughout his career even not knowing what exactly IAS means. He went on to get admitted in one of the best schools in India 'Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya' where he found his aim. He then was selected to one of the prestigious medical college, KEM Mumbai. Then in 2012 through his hard work ranked 527 in UPSC CSE exams to become 1st ever IAS officer from Bhill tribe.Now, what if there wasn't reservation? A brilliant mind would have been still brewing liquor somewhere. That would be a tremendous loss as I personally heard experiences told by many people of his excellent work and discipline.Yes, reservation is necessary for these kind of people to come out of their background and mix with the flow. I agree many people misuse reservation but if 10 out of 100 are benefited then I wouldn't mind giving a fair chance to them. After all their condition is a result of hundreds of years of suffering and oppression.But, I thinkThere should be income cap even for SC/ST category like it is for women and OBCs.Once someone has taken reservation, their next generation should not be allowed to take advantage of it.PS- I am damn sure he would have cracked UPSC without reservation and I don't have a slight doubt about his or any reserved category person's intelligence. I gave an example to justify my point.I'm from general category.Edit-Reservation should be continued but as I have already mentioned it's should be for single generation only, this way in a few years it can be ended.Stop giving examples of your aquaintances misusing reservation. Those people are 1% of total reserved category. Just because it's happening in front of you doesn't mean all are doing same.Again, because of few people others who are really in deprived state can not be ignored. How many of you have seen someone from a village misusing reservation? Stop ranting and hating.Those who are suggesting economic criteria, how on the earth can you decide you really is poor for generations and who got poor because of their mistakes? That's their fault and not govt's so expecting from govt is not okay. I bet all will say that they are poor already and it's not their fault. Please be rational.

Reasons for Silly mistakes are :lack of concentrationExam pressureNervousnessFear of failureThinking “Mera ho bhi payega ya nahi “ while giving test , etcI will give you one tip that I followed :You should select ‘mark for review' for atleast 30 to 40 questions out of 100 ( if you have 1 percent doubt or if it has long calculation ,, mark it for review ). Then after completing exam check all these questions and cross verify them. If you don't get time to verify still the questions will be considered attempted so no need to worryI hope it will help you in achieving acuracy.NOTE : ELIMINATING SILLY MISTAKES COMPLETELY IS QUITE TOUGH DUE TO EXAM PRESSURE SO TRY TO MINIMISE THEM AS MUCH AS YOU CANAll the best 😊
