To vastly oversimplify, I view Marx as having made several cogent criticisms of the capitalism he observed. He offered various analyses to account for the perceived flaws, some of which have been integrated in mainstream economic thought in various forms.Marx’s critique of capitalism must be kept separate from his proposed alternative of a form of socialism that would supplant capitalism. That model is an example of a solution that is worse than the problem.

As the owner of several [8] Rottweilers over the past 35 yrs, I have some interest in the history of the breed.The bottom line is that there are ultimately two types of Rottweilers: the well-bred ones and badly bred ones. The actual country in which a Rottweiler is born is ultimately what makes him an American, French, Italian, Canadian, French or German Rottweiler.The Rottweiler did NOT originate in Germany!!! FACTThe Rottweiler came to Europe [Germany] with the Roman Legion 2000 yrs ago and has its origin in the Mastiff but is known in its present form for 19 Centuries [2000 yrs more or less].He takes his name after the German town of Rottweil ob der Taube, in Wurtenburg - Germany, ["Red fortress above the Tauber" - river Tauber.] where he took root after the Romans got their collective arses kicked by the Teutonic German tribes.The dogs had been part of the Roman supply train and it was part of their task to drive and protect the cattle [from wolf packs] on the long trek over the Alps through the famous St Gotthard pass. As the supply train diminished, many of the dogs accompanying the soldiers were dropped off and left behind to run wild.The dogs were ‘re-domesticated’ in Rottweil hence the name ‘Rottweiler’. Because so many butchers owned this breed, for many years it was commonly known as “the butchers”. Butchers had surplus meat/bones to feed their dogs.In an age of frequent hold-ups, the wise tied his heavy purse on the dog's collar and stopped worrying about losing it. There was no highwayman brave enough to take it from the dog as the result would have been to have a 120lb [60kg] dog hanging on his throat. Although a serious thread to evil-doers, he is a mild-mannered dog yet tough and fearless which together with his intelligence, made him a favourite dog for police work and guard duties. The large frame of the Rottie makes it unsuitable as a hunting dog. He is a sprinter and looks rather comical when he runs, except when he comes towards you and is on a mission. Then you better close the car door.How do you know where the Rottweiler is born? Well simple. the German Rottweiler bark in German, the English and American Rottweiler bark in English, the French in French and the Italian in Italian. Only the Greek Rottweiler speak All Greek.So why then are there “American Rottweilers” and “Belgium Rottweilers” and “Canadian Rottweilers” etc.? I am often asked what makes a German Rottweiler a German Rottweiler and an American Rottweiler an American Rottweiler. The answer is simple: Country of birth. Your next question will undoubtedly be “why then such a vast difference in German Rottweilers and American Rottweilers?” That answer is also simple: Standards.The ADRK or Allegemeiner Deutscher Rottweiler- Klub is the German “equivalent” (and I use that term loosely) of the AKC or American Kennel Club. With the American Kennel Club, you can register and breed any Rottweiler with papers. The ADRK have MUCH higher standards. In Germany, before a Rottweiler is ALLOWED to breed, it must first prove itself in the show ring, and it must be judged on how well it representsthe TRUE German Rottweiler in bothconformation (physical appearance–head type, heavy bone, well-muscled body with good substance) and Temperament (mental soundness--not wavering in courage, highly intelligent and good-natured). This is accomplished by a Breeding Suitability Test (ZtP, Kurong, or in Holland, MAG). It must also have certification pertaining to genetic diseases such as hip and elbow dysplasia. Then it must be determined if the Rottweiler to which it is intended to be bred is compatible and whether it will “better the breed”. If all qualifications are not met, the pups WILL NOT BE REGISTERED.With the AKC, a breeder in America, simply calls or e-mails the number of pups born and who the parents are. Then you must hope that the dogs who were stated to be the sire and dam truly are and that the number of registration forms requested equals the number of pups born. You also have no confirmation that the Rottweilers who were bred were either free from genetic diseases that will affect the pups or whether either the sire or the dam remotely resembled the breed standard for the Rottweiler.While the AKC [America] attempts to regulate the breed, the ADRK [Germany] ensures it.As a result, the more “American” generations in a Rottweilers pedigree, the further the dog typically is from his true German heritage. The strong head with a broad skull and short muzzle elongates and narrows, weakening the bite strength that the Rottweiler is famous for.The rich, well-defined markings become muddy or faded. The compact, solid bone structure and massive muscular frame are replaced with a leggy and weedy “American” version. And most importantly, the calm, confident, nurturing dog is bred to be aggressive and indiscriminate, or worse skiddish and a fear-biter. That been said, there are a few “Code of Ethics” breeders in the USA who strive to maintain the standards set forth by the ADRK Germany and are thereby making some beautiful “American Rottweilers” who are correct in conformation.At Guardian Rottweilers, our breeding Rottweilers are either German or European Imports or produced by us from dogs that were imported. And every dog that we import, we have travelled directly to Europe to observe, critique and handle BEFORE even contemplating adding them to our breeding program. That is why we are confident enough in our dogs to not only guarantee the health but the temperament as well. Whether to improve your breeding program, make us proud in the show ring, or do what it/he does best by being a Guardian to your family, we are incredibly proud of our Guardian Rottweilers.A game of deathWitnesses tell of a bone-jarring tussle between the dogs and the Tiger. “It was nothing like anything I had ever imagined,” says Jack, who was also visiting the park for the first time. He shudders to imagine what would have happened had the dogs lost the fight. For a heart-stopping moment, dog and Tiger wrestled went for the jugular and sought a technical knock-out. However, it did not take long before the tiger was outnumbered and overpowered. Sensing an opening, the dogs instinctively went for the kill. In the end, three animals lay heap: the Rottweilers, wounded and exhausted; the Tiger, dead.Wounded limbsIt is surprising how the two Rottweiler dogs survived the sharp lashes from the Tiger’s strong teeth. Though they won the fight, it was not without a cost. One Rottweiler will have to walk on three legs for the rest of its life, having lost the other to the Tiger’s unforgiving canines. However, the dog had given its all into the fight, standing on three legs. It was clearly a matter of life and death, and the dogs knew it owing to their intense training and instinct. The other dog, though with all its four feet intact, can hardly walk – muscles and tendons having been painfully torn apart by the Tiger.one of my two of my Rottweilers, sadly now deceased.

You can but unless you’re very observant, it’s gonna be a slow process. You’re prone to making the same mistakes over and over unless you get some form of outside input.you can get that input through observation, critiques, and reading. Your drawings can drastically improve in a few minutes through observation alone, so learning to see things accurately is important. And learning through other artists insights is valuable as well and can help you approach your work differently, hence reading and critique.I’d say in this day and age, just sitting down and drawing consistently is 55% necessary, observation is 30%, reading is 10%, and critique from other people as 5%.
