There were about 15 centimetres of fresh snow on the car. I pulled the cover off - it was a jiffy! All nice, clean powder snow that just flew off like flour. I stuffed the car cover in the trunk and drove to work.50 km of this:After which, my car looked like this:“No problem,” said the man as he parked in front of his office, put the cover back on, and connected the electric engine- and interior heaters.During the day, a cold front moved in, and it began to snow a bit. Then, the temperature sank down to about minus 23 Celsius by 17:00. Things turned arctic. There, this is just outside my office window, at about 16:30; you can feel the cold:And I laughed and said to myself, “haha, no problem! I am answering the question as a Veterinarian. I watched the video. There is no induction of paralysis in animals by spoken words, as the animals were still able to move and walkaway later after demo was over.The technique comprises of keeping the animals calm by a combination of various methods.Demonstrator did the following:- Cornered the animals in a group in a quiet environment (Video-4:28)- Restrained the animals gently (5:00)- Covered animal’s eye with their long ears (5:14)There is no magic in it, just a combination of above techniques that manipulate the animal behavior.He didn’t show the actual footage of the sacrifice. In an actual sacrifice, the animals will run, struggle, and normal physiological stress responses, like fight and flight will kick in.However, I would agree to the demonstrator if he had not used any physical technique of restraining the animals (It can be taught to the animals by training though!). Of course, in real life it never happens. Everyone loves their life!
