It would entail the following....1) For each year you would have a sheetFather nameWife NameEach Childs NameEveryone Social Security Number2) A Spreadsheet with costs for the following expenses and everything should have receiptsHousingFoodElectricityWaterTrashNanny/DayCare ExpensesIncome earned by fatherIncome earned by motherState child support amount per month per personTotal up the total spent then figure out what the state would legally make him pay, then the difference is what you owe, on an annual basis3) Tax Forms for every year that he paid taxesHe wrote off expenses that he paid for you, so you are not responsible for those expensesChild Tax CreditsDaycare expenses he wrote off4) If he cannot provide you with detailed answers for questions, they don't count.He wants to be "reimbursed" so he needs to prove what he paid, he shouldn't get credit for things he wrote off and you should quantify things like love, vacation.Hes going to look at you like you're nuts, tell him well you're dumb for thinking of a kid as an investment, ask him why he buys nice cars. Before they were entered into the table, we could each veto the others suggestions if we disliked them for some reason.Step 2: First runoffWe then each went through the list and read out the boy and girl names to each other, giving them each a score out of 5. We did this twice, so as to get an average score each (you pretty much forgot what you gave it the first time).Step 3: Final runoffWe then went through them again (twice) and re-scored them based on how they sounded when coupled with our surname, Edwards. This produced some surprising results, with a few favourite names doing poorly when coupled with Edwards. This is an important step!Step 4: AggregationAfter all of that and a few glasses of wine, we each had our favourites. Now the really fair part: we added the scores from each of us together to give a final score.
