I had just read a book about trying new adventures. My wife and I were attending a Bull Fight in Mexico.The arena announcer asked for a volunteer to fight the bull and I jumped at the chance to try something I would likely never be able to do again.I fought a young bull in an arena in Mexico with only two minutes of training.It's the only time in my life that my knees bounced uncontrollably, as I was standing at the inside wall of the Arena watching the Matadors fight larger bulls. I couldn't read my own signature as I signed a release of liability form, realizing that I was still in Mexico.I had a successful six or seven minutes flinging the extremely heavy red cape around and trying not to get punctured by the horns as the bull went by me. The Matador was right behind me telling me what to do, so that was a HUGE help.A buddy of mine volunteered next after watching me, and the bull punctured his groin area. We thought for a second that my buddy had punctured an artery, because of the blood. He limped for the next few weeks.At a dinner that evening at the Arena, I received a certificate from the Arena for "Fighting the Brave Bull"... my buddy was presented a Band-Aide, then they gave him a certificate too.
