IN 5 YEARS:Lets think of it this way: Loona, ITZY, Everglow, & GIDLE are only beginning their careers meanwhile Twice, Red Velvet, & Blackpink are already seniors.RED VELVET: Their contract expires 2021. We know SM never disbands groups BUT they still have their new gg to debut. Most SM groups are always popular and in the top kpop groups. We all know SM… once they debut new groups they start pushing away the older groups & they start to get less comebacks.TWICE: Their contract ends around 2022–2024. They are a super popular girl group currently but there is a possibility they may suffer the 7 year curse bc it’s mainly common in bigger groups with more members.BLACKPINK: Their contract ends in 2023. The girl were mistreated for nearly 2 years. With YG’s new leading person, everything has gotten much better. 2020 was a good year for them so far. Again like with SM, YG still has their new gg to debut. Hopefully with the new person in charge they won’t do the usual YG and abandoned the group. Currently it’s hard to see if Blackpink will resign or not!Back to first point I made, the other groups (Loona, Itzy, etc) their careers are still fresh and barely beginning! They have plenty of time to build their career and gain so much success.My prediction for the top girl group in 5 years is ITZY. They are so far one of the strongest of the current new rookies. They also have a huge Korean and international fan base. Then I’d say it’d be the new BigHit girl group due to the fact Many army’s Will support them as BTS’s little sisters. Then I’d say SM new gg bc SM groups are usually always extremely successful. Those groups I think will be the top 3 girl groups in 5 years. I see current main 3 (RV, Twice, BP) still being popular but just lowkey. Then I’d say the YG gg is popular as well. I see Gidle, Loona, & Everglow getting a bit more bigger but mainly staying at their current popular level. I see Iz*one as the IOI of this generation: everyone wants them back/will miss them (when they disband early 2021).

Let’s get it.~~~~~~~~~~All three left SM due to the same reason: Mistreatment, racism towards the Chinese idols and treated like a machine.For those who don’t know:-SM is known for being racist and xenophobic towards foreign idols, especially the Chinese ones. The main victims of this racism are the three former members of EXO, Hangeng (former SuJu member), and now Winwin and Renjun (NCT’s current members).~~~~~~~~~~~In May, 2014, Kris was the first member to file a lawsuit against SM, due to “being treated different from the Korean members, treated like a machine than a person”. And note, he was diagnosed with myocarditis, a severe heart condition.On July, 2016, he officially left EXO and his contract with SM still remains valid until 2022, which means that he will be under SM’s management only for Korean and Japanese promotions, although he mainly promotes in China.~~~~~In October, 2014, Luhan was the 2nd member to file a lawsuit against SM for the same reason as Kris- favoritism towards Korean members. SM’s stocks noticed a 9.41% drop and then to 15%.On July, 2016, he officially left EXO and just like Kris, his contract with SM remains valid till 2022.~~~~~In August 2015, Tao (now known as Z.Tao or Zitao), became the 3rd member to file a lawsuit saying that “he lacks freedom and the 10-year contract was unfair and had unjust terms.”Unlike Kris and Luhan’s cases where the issue resolve to a compromise with SM, Tao’s was the only one where the court ruled in SM’s favor.In China, SM filed a lawsuit against Tao regarding his solo activities, although the Chinese court ruled in the latter’s favor and dismissed it. In Feb, 2018, Tao won a lawsuit in China against SM Entertainment, but it was clarified that the verdict was related to Tao’s album release infringing rights not related to his contract with SM Ent.He submitted an appeal, but the court dismissed it, leading to the continuation of his contract with SM.As of now, his contract with SM remains valid till 2022. Yes they do..SM is one of the few companies who aren't strict on dating rules. In fact they encourage their artists to date within the company only so that if news gets out, it is easier for them to handle.EXOs Kai and f(x) Krystal dated in 2016 and broke up after about a year.EXOs Baekhyun and SNSD Taeyeon were caught by Dispatch in 2014.This was SMs first public relationship. Mind you EXO was only a 2 year rookie group back then yet Baekhyun was still allowed to date apparently. They also broke up after about a year..EXOs Kai and Blackpinks Jennie were caught by Dispatch in 2019. They dated for a few months only apparently..Girl’s Generation Tiffany and 2PM Nichkhun went public with their relationship in 2014. They dated for about an year..Actor Lee Seung Gi and Girls’ Generation‘s Yoona went public in 2014 as well. They dated for more than an year..Super Juniors Heechul and Twice Momo revealed they were dating at the start of 2020. It is rumored they had been dating for a few years before the reveal.(Super Junior has also mentioned several times that they used to date often in their rookie days. Imagine how many other relationships there are that we will probably never know about lol. In conclusion, no SM does not have strict dating rules and even if they do, it's probably for the first year or two only..(Some of these relationships have been speculated to be media play but there is no evidence of that so take it as you may)
