PDF Editor FAQ

What type of crime is the least respected by other inmates in prison?

Any crime against a child, mainly sex crimes. Here is a word of advice for anyone that may know someone who is facing charges of any deviant crimes against a child, have your last will and testament done before entering prison. C.O. (guards) and inmates have families, most have young children. Even being held in P.C. (protective customdy) won’t always jeep them safe. C.O.’s often “forget” to lock the door of a Child Molester (ChoMo on the inside). I was at LSCI Butner (Low Security), NC. There was a low life in my unit that had kidnapped a 13yr old girl, kept her in his basement. He had a camera on her so he could watch her while he was working (he had a Federal job). One night, he went downstairs and bit off her nipples, then raped her. An inmate wrote her parents, asking how much they would pay him to kill this prick (they read letters, so wasn’t mailed and that guy was sent to the hole). Even though at Butner, child molesters, cops, snitches are protected, he was ostracized, verbally abused, and got his ass kicked twice while I was there.

How can I, as the admin of my mom's estate in NC, avoid selling land in my mom's name in VA (value $15K) to pay my mom's unsecured debt of $11K? I don't want to be liable as an admin. Would not selling the land for two years be an option?

Your State laws will determine what you can and can not do.Unsecured debts accrue interest costs and late penalties while remaining unpaid. This is eroding your mother’s estate. Chances are, if 11K in debt has been left unpaid long enough, selling the land in Virginia may not be enough to do so.Time is of the essence in these situations. In my State, if I had to sell part of the estate to pay off debts, any residue monies are required to be accounted for and retained in an escrow account until proper distribution.Unless, you are the sole person named on the Will, every action must be done according to your mother’s last will and testament. Even if you are sole beneficiary to your mother’s estate, there are still legal procedures you need to follow. Not being sure of estate executor/executrix obligations and constraints is evident of your need for legal assistance from an estate attorney within your State.

To those who have gone no contact with parents/other family, what was the last straw to make you go NC?

Back story; Grandad and Nan 5 children. D(19yrs), J(18yrs), W(16yrs), my mum (15yr) and C (2yrs old). When my Nan was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. Grandad, Nan, mum and C moved to the main city while Nan was being treated. Nan didn’t survive so when Grandad, mum and C stayed in Melbourne. Mum met my dad, got married had me. C stayed and lived with grandad until he got married and moved out.Now to the reason I cut ties; My grandad was like a second dad to myself, he was (and still is) my closest person. My mum, C and grandad did everything together. We are a very close family.grandad was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, as usual our family rallied around him, however D and J decided that they were going to ‘support’ him as well. J was a drug addict and D never really had anything to do with grandad when I was growing up. This is where his will comes into play, grandad never made it any secret what was in his will. C got his house because he grew up in it and did all the work on it, everything else got sold and the money split between the 5 kids. Even the grandkids knew what would happen.Grandad passed away in October it broke our hearts, Christmas Eve we (mum, my dad and I) got a phone call from J saying that her and D were contesting his last will and testament. Things got very nasty to the point where I had to get a restraining order put in place because J was threatening me and threatened to kill me at my wedding. J also threatened my mum because during the time it come to light that my mum was molested when she was around the age of 7 and some of the phone calls were that she enjoyed it so J would organise someone to continue. They ended up getting 2/3’s of the house, mum forfeited her money to give to C because he was the baby of the family but also had a young family of his own.The reason I cut ties wasn’t due to the money (I wasn’t getting any of it) it was because Grandad had never hidden what was to happen when he died and they promised that they would honour his wishes but once he was gone they didn’t think twice of dishonouring him and causing a lot of grief in the process. So 8 years later and I have nothing to do with D or J, W lost her husband 6 years ago to MND so in a small way grandad helped bring us all together because Mum and W had lost touch due to kids and living 300km away but now their back to talking3 times a week.Sorry if this doesn’t all make sense; I’ve typed it on a phone while holding my two yr old.

Comments from Our Customers

The features I've used so far have been fantastic. CocoDoc is quick and easy to learn. The only feature it doesn't have that I would utilise is when creating a form and using the 'formula' option I'd like to be able to add formulas like in excel e.g. =field_1 so that I can duplicate a form entry where it has been entered previously. I chatted with the live support team about this and they were fast to respond & took this request onboard for future updates. A great product and fantastic customer service.
