In Canada, the police services have a grey area where any and all interactions by an individual with law enforcement are recorded in CPIC—the national law enforcement database. If you have any contact with this entity during their drug days, either by cell-phone, or in person, chances are likely that this will be in CPIC as a grey area record.As many citizens of Canada, myself included, being friends with a confidential informant, without knowledge of this, will put you on the radar of law enforcement, especially if this “friend” needs to keep providing new information to the police as part of some contract.These grey area records of police contacts, emergency services calls, and any associations with suspected criminals—note the use of suspected criminals, not convicted—are available to law enforcement and customs officials in Canada and the US, but not you as an individual until you apply for job that requires a deep background investigation, or you cross the border into the US. Grey area criminal records can prevent you from being employed or crossing into the US, and possibly worse.

Depending on how busy they are, if there’s no answer at the house, they might ask neighbors if they know whether there is anyone else living there. They have an option to look at an individual carrier (Sprint, T-Mobile, AT&T, Verizon).You can look at all towers in the location. This will show you towers owned by companies like SBA, America Towers, ect - these towers are co-location towers - a shared site. It uses Google Map with pins pointing to locations, you have the option to click onto the site for further information:The further information will provide you with tower type (pole, camouflage, building, mast), street address, Latitude and longitude, how tall the cell site is and contact details of a person responsible for tower information at the carrier. When you go onto street view, it will show the pin where the tower is so you can see if it is disguised or a big pole.Please take note that the website doesn't tell you which carriers are at the co-located tower.The website also shows you TV, Radio and Public Safety/Emergency Services radio towers.This is useful if you see a tower and you're trying to find out if it is yours. It may be for Police and Fire radios.
