Several people who attended that event, including President Donald Trump and first lady Melania Trump, have tested positive for COVID-19.Trump returned to the White House Monday after spending three days in the hospital to receive treatments for COVID-19.Shortly after Trump was released from the hospital, he released a video message touting the care he received and downplaying the severity of the virus."Don't let it dominate you. Don't be afraid of it. You're going to beat it," Trump said in a video posted to his Twitter account Monday night, echoing a message he embraced earlier in the day that drew fire from critics who noted presidents receive the best care possible.A growing list of White House officials have also tested positive for the virus, including senior White House aide Stephen Miller and Hope Hicks and press secretary Kayleigh McEnany.White House coronavirus outbreak: Thousands may have been exposed from Atlanta to MinnesotaIn addition, most of the nation's top military leaders have been quarantining after coming in contact with a senior officer with COVID-19, according to the Pentagon. The military's top two officers, Gen. What is the most ridiculous misconception a customer has ever had at your workplace?

After he left the US Marine Corps, my son worked as the manager of a Blockbuster Video Store for a couple years. Back then there was a standard pathway for most movie releases: First run in theaters, second run in theaters, release to television networks (Movie of the Week, etc), release to video stores and finally released as video disk, VCR or Beta for direct sale to the public. Some people didn’t get this. They assumed that newly released movie would immediately be available for rental at Blockbuster. My son had this same conversation every day with different customers:Customer: “I don’t see <movie title> on your shelf.”Son: “It’s still in theaters and hasn’t been released to video yet.”C: “Do you have a copy in the back somewhere?”S: “No. It hasn’t been released to video yet.”C: “Could you check the return box to see if someone returned a copy?”S: “We don’t have it in inventory because it hasn’t been released to video yet.”C: “Could you check anyway or call another Blockbuster to see if they have a copy?”S: “No Blockbuster in America has a copy because it hasn’t been released to video yet.”C: “Can I talk to your manager?S: “I am the manager. The only place that <movie title> is currently available is in the theater, because the distributor hasn’t released it to video yet.”C: “Why are you being so difficult? Maybe I should take my business to another video store.”S: “I would suggest <competing video store>, five blocks north of here. Make sure to ask for <jerk my son had to fire>.”

Why can’t the Marine Corps release my son ASAP if he is unable to adapt to military life? Why does it take weeks to send him home if he is released from the marine boot camp training?

Hello mam. I hope you're reading this right now. Our son is LCpl currently stationed in Okinawa. MSG. He guards the gates of the base. His mother had apprehensions when we had to sign for him as he was only 17 at the time. Let me tell you this right now: allowing him to serve and follow his passion is the greatest gift we could have given him at that time. He has evolved into something that is hard to describe but I will try anyway. Typical teenager, friends, girlfriend, social life, sweet kind loving and never got into trouble. Video games, stay up late, sleep late…needed direction. You know the deal. Wanted something more in life though. Needed a goal. Needed inspiration. Normal civilian life just wasn't going to be enough for him. So he decided he wanted to join the Marine Corps. We always tried to be perfect parents but you know that no one is perfect. At least not until they become a Marine. We watched him graduate boot camp. Watched him graduate combat training. Watched him graduate MOS school. Watched him fly off to the other side of the world. Watched him….BECOME A MAN! Our son is stronger, smarter, faster, more powerful, more honorable, more courageous and more committed than anyone we have ever met or known in our life. He makes us proud. He refuses to rest on his laurels. He is our hero. Your son can do this too. I don’t think you realize yet what is to come. He WILL MAKE YOU THE PROUDEST, HAPPIEST, MOST SATISFIED PARENT. More than you can understand at this time. Do we miss him. Yes, ALL THE TIME! But our feelings of missing him are small and insignificant compared to the pride we feel for raising him. Small compared to the Marine Corps. Small compared to knowing that he is better than us. Defending our country, our nation and the Constitution of the United States of America. And growing and experiencing life in a way that so few will. And learning how to be self sufficient. And how to solve his own problems and contribute to society and protect himself and his fellow brothers and sisters and protect us and protect YOU. And your son too! Because as soon as they pin that eagle, globe and anchor on your sons chest he will forever be our sons brother too. And they can and WILL protect and defend and honor and respect us all. And grow together with opportunities that so few ever get the chance at. So please mam consider this a respectful request with advice: instead of trying to create a way out for him, push him. Encourage him. Tell your son that YOU BELIEVE IN HIM. And that he can do this. He can! Shut down the rotors and land your parental helicopter. Tell him that failure is not an option. If he thinks that you think that he cannot adapt then he will not adapt. If he thinks that you think that he can succeed then he will succeed! You are the determining factor in his success or failure. And when you get to see him and his fellow Marines walk across that parade deck on graduation day you too will know that everything I just said is true. He will come home to you. He will still play video games and hang out with his friends and want you to make blue berry pancakes for him (or whatever he likes you to make). He will probably still annoy you a little the way teenagers do. But you will see him differently. He will hug you tighter and tell you he loves you and tell you how he took things for granted. But he will SHOW you in his actions consciously or not how proud he is. How strong he is. How proud he is. Trust me on this one. Children should be better than their parents. That's the way it should be. You are at the cusp of determining his fate at this point. You will not be disappointed. It's up to you whether or not he succeeds. Don’t fail him mom. Please. You will see. If you need to talk to someone or vent just hit me up here on quora. Peace be with you.Christopher
