In most of the cars in India, which i have used the car has boot release inside the car in Driver bay foot well as a Lever sitting right next to the Fuel Lid release lever. Here is an example imageThe challenge is its usually located in an area with limited lighting and difficult access.Another challenge is that these two levers are usually placed right next to each other and it sometimes adds to the confusion. Once you pull the wrong lever, you will have the full exercise of getting out of the car and closing the lid manually.If you live in India, There are security checks for cars everywhere you go, Offices, Malls, Communities,highways and sometimes with cops and traffic. The bending over and opening the boot becomes a routine and i really wish this could have been solved.I have an 2011 Ford Figo and one of its best feature which i could not thank Ford enough for, Is the Remote Boot Release Button on the Dashboard.Its a Small button on the Dashboard on the driver side and you can open the boot with a simple press of a button.Elegant, Functional and super usefull.I wont say its groundbreaking technology however a pretty useful and nifty feature.Thanks everyone for the upvotes, my first answer to get 2000+ upvotes.

No.I’m sure someone has already pointed this out in one of the 49 other answers, but this challenge is both racist AND sexist.[Political rant follows, which is only tangentially related to the question. I apologize in advance.]But I’m not complaining. It’s this kind of racism and sexism - against white men - that actually helps Republicans win elections in the US. It shows liberal hypocrisy. Liberals want to live in a post-racial society, where everyone is judged by their merit and not their race or gender. Then they pull stunts like this.It makes white men just throw their hands up and say “the hell with it, I’m not going to even try to bridge the gap with liberals, if this is how they treat guys like me.”And, like it or not, you’re going to need the support of white men if you want to get anything done politically in the US.[Political rant over.]If you are taking this challenge, I’m afraid I just ruined it for you.
