PDF Editor FAQ

Why is there so much opposition to gun control in the United States?

Because Gun Control doesn’t address the one element that leads to a Mass Shooting: Incompetency. Why do I mention that? It is because it has been proven time and again that US Security Forces (most notably The Police and other Federal Investigative and Intelligence Agencies) either cannot immediately respond to a “Mass Shooting” in time or they have all of the information about a potential mass shooter and they do nothing in advance to stop them. There are many cases but I want to narrow down my particular cases to 4 Mass Shooting Events: Charles Whitman in 1966, Mark R. Essex in 1973, Elliot Rodgers in 2013 and the most recent Parkland Shooting involving Nikolas Cruz. The first couple events are, to me at least, considered “Police Response Failures” due to the fact that upon people noticing what was happening either before the shooting or after it had immediately started The US Police Departments of Austin and New Orleans couldn’t react enough in time. Which resulted in Whitman killing 3 individuals (i.e. a Receptionist, a Mother and the Mother’s Child) and Essex killing a Newly Wed Couple inside of a New Orleans Holiday Inn and then summarily setting their apartment on fire which had also gave Essex enough time to set himself up in a Elevator “Bunker” atop the Holiday Inn and allowed him to get off a couple or so shots upon their arrival at the scene. Though this was before SWAT Units came to be and Mr. Essex had to be suppressed via a M60 Helicopter Crew and a Counter Sniper Unit to allow for an assault unit as with Whitman 7 years prior (and that had to involve the citizens of Austin laying down suppression fire upon Whitman’s Position). If those citizens were summarily disarmed Whitman could have spent HOURS to DAYS (as was his intention) on that tower killing people from up on the UT Austin Tower. Also keep in mind that both of these Mass Shooters told everyone they knew (and Mr. Essex sent a chilling letter to a New Orleans Radio Station telling them that they “couldn’t do shit” about his plan) and they still got away with the casualties that they did. Please tell me how “taking the scary guns away” would have kept both of these nuts from killing. They would have either stolen guns to commit their crime (as would be expected of criminals) or they would have resorted to “other means” (such as creating bombs which aren’t all that hard to make. Hell there are many “Anarchist Cook Book” type web pages that literally explains in detail how to create a 5.56 Ammo Brass “Blasting Cap” and to use said “Blasting Cap” to prime Plastic Explosives (which can be made from Fertilizer and Petroleum Jelly (i.e. Vaseline)).Then comes the cases of Nikolas Cruz and Elliot Rodgers. I will focus on the latter before getting to the former. Elliot Rodgers was, much like Mark Essex, Ideologically Radicalized and he had also suffered under a family that was not only extremely lenient and lazy but also extremely uncaring as to his own well being. Upon writing his manifesto he mentions that he was able to outright LIE to Police Personnel to ensure that they wouldn’t search his Apartment (mainly since they were responding to concerns from YouTube about his videos). Not to mention the fact that Peter Rodger, his father, had little to no idea on how to fix Elliot’s loneliness issue which then metastasized into the infamous “Isla Vista Massacre” where 7 people died. Now I really want to emphasize to those who are for Gun Control, if you hold positions that also specifically detests The Police and US Security Apparatus, then you must see this error prone Police Department as an TEXTBOOK EXAMPLE of why those of us who support The Second Amendment supports it! The Government is extremely prone to flaws! If those 7 people had a chance to defend themselves then the casualties would have been lessened OR EVEN if The Police had searched his Apartment (like they SHOULD have) then the “Isla Vista Massacre” would never have happened and Elliot would be seeing a Life In Prison sentence. And now onto Mr. Cruz and the Parkland Shooting. If I recall correctly I heard that The FBI and Sheriff Israel knew Nikolas Cruz was a threat, they obtained many reports about Cruz’s Behavior and what did they do to try to “stop” him? NOTHING. Not a single damn thing. Why? Because they were continuing a Policy that was meant to “end the High School to Jail Pipeline” (source: Guns Don't Kill People, Incompetence Does: Unpacking the Parkland Shooting Facts - Gun News Daily) as well as continuing to “Investigate Trump for ‘Russian Collusion’”.Don’t take my right to self determination, or the right of self determination for others, away because of the ABJECT FAILURE of our own Security Apparatus! What I would honestly prefer is some type of advanced Tip Reporting system alongside a “Pre-Emptive SWAT Readiness Team” to be created to not only collect 24/7 Intelligence on “Dangerous Individual(s)” but to also specifically document behavior and have a Unit on standby just in case resolutions to the issue hasn’t been reached. Just an idea but stop pinning Security Force Incompetency on a people’s right to self determination in the form of their right to keep and bear arms.

In the US, do restaurant servers have to report very large tips to their supervisors and also report them on their taxes?

According to the IRS, as an employee who receives tips, you must do three things:Keep a daily tip record.Report tips to the employer, unless less than $20.Report all tips on an individual income tax return. It’s really a bit complicated and I suspect that most servers use the “allocated tips” shown by the employer, rather than the actual tips they get. To be honest, how would anyone really know and how would this kind of thing be audited?

How do restaurants and bars verify the income claimed from tips? How often do they get audited by the government for this?

I've waitressed in restaurants on both the East Coast and West Coast. I've always been told by the owners and managers that we (waitstaff) only have to report 10% of our total sales for the day as our daily tips amount. (So, waitstaff could often end up taking home more than what was reported as far as cash tips go.)It might be just an 8% minimum as the CPA mentioned and as waitstaff we were told 10% just to be safe. Obviously tips paid on cards are easier to track. We would report the tips daily if using a POS in the restaurant. In the more Old School places that didn't use a POS, we would just write down 10% of our sales for that day on our time cards for the restaurant to track and account for each week when they would do payroll.I've never heard of any restaurant that I've worked for getting audited for tips, nor any friends who also have worked in the biz getting audited for tips. If a restaurant is doing something questionable with the tips (like not splitting them fairly or management is keeping some from the staff), then they could be audited if any employees were to file a complaint perhaps.

Feedbacks from Our Clients

I had been searching for a long time for a software for my small non profit organization so that we could collect member data and process payments in an easy and dynamic manner. We had struggled with other form software in the past because many do not nest questions and are not easy to input directly into email newsletters and/or websites. CocoDoc solved all of these questions. The software allows you to ask questions whose yes or no answer will then lead to other very specific questions. It also integrates payment methods and price points directly into the form. While it takes some testing, it's very easy to set up and share with coworkers before the form goes live. CocoDoc also has the option to collect all responses into a dynamic Google spreadsheet, so that you can see real life responses out of the software.
