There are two incidentsThe first oneI wasn’t aware that the boy’s parents were coming to see me . I don't know why my parents talk secretly about my marriage and all. Finally, the news hit me that some family was arriving the following day to see me. so i was presented in front of them (boy’s mother and father )Boy’s father didn’t ask any questions , his mother had some queries but she was continously staring at me ( i don’t like it when someone stares at me without a break), I was feeling uncomfortable uncomfortable.she - what are you doing ?me - I’m preparing for a government job.she - what do you do all day ?me- I study most of the time, but once in a while i help my mom in her chores.she- Can you cook ?me - yeah , a little bit as mom gives me minor tasks in the kitchen.After that she was staring at me continuously.when we all were watching t.v , the boy’s mother still simply wouldn’t stop staring at me .and his father was busy in taking my photos from our album .The second one :Half of the enquiry about me was done via phone call and whatsapp.Either I have the potential to be their daughter in law or not ..though my father sent them my photo.i wear glasses and and she was questioning about it.what’s my height ?Send birth certificate , college certificate , etc..she wants to see .They on the other hand sent only send the boy’ s photo .my father asked them to send send birth certificate , college certificate , id card.They didn’t provide any of those.And even then my father asked them to come and visit us.They agreed .I was sitting in front of boy’s parents . They stared at me for like 5 min. Then my interview started . i was wearing a frock suit .she - what are you doing ?me - preparing for a government job.she - what kind of job.me - bank , ssc .she - ok! will you be able to manage house hold chores and also the work pressure from your office simultaneously ?me- yeah , now a days , women are balancing everything in their lives while working. Be it either to handle house hold chores or caring for their children and family .she - Can you cook ?me - yes , a little bit.she - How much did you score in the 10th grade ?me - xxx marks.she - How much did you score in the 12th grade?me- yyy marks.Now came his father’s turn.he- what are your hobbies ?me - listening to music , painting , drawing.he - will you play with my son , if he wishes to play badminton ?me- yes ( i was thinking what sort of a question is he is asking )after interview ..There was handwriting test (hahahaBizarre)They asked me to write my father’s name , mother’s name and my address on a plain sheet of paper.I was now starting to wonder whether they’ll ask me to do a ramp walk to judge my style of walking (hahahha)After this they demanded that they want to see me in saree.After that we didn’t receive a single call from them .Thanks for reading :)Thanks Tilak Kumar (ತಿಲಕ್ ಕುಮಾರ್)

I have been friends with Namo for around 11 years. We have been classmates, roommates, colleagues.But I will try to remove any bias from my answer that can possibly creep in, at the same time I will talk with evidences that make him a great teacher. So here’s my view on Namo:He is a smart student. During college days, he was one of the rare students who would hit the badminton court on the pervious evening of final exams. When everyone in hostel was sleepless, tensed you could see him enjoying music with his headphones on. I used to encounter him at times, if he is really prepared - and always to my surprise, not only he was well-prepared, but ended up teaching us and yeah we scored well. I definitely owe it to him!He had his disciplined way of learning during the class itself, rather than pushing it till a week before exams. He’d try to visualize everything taught during the lecture. This reflects in his teaching style too, he is delivering quality content and in style he always wanted his teacher to deliver to him.One could get drowsy when studying with him, I see a reflection of this in his video leectures, he is always actively involved and keeps you actively involved.His teaching style is lucid and has unique way of creating visualizations, he just imparts the knowledge he has.Another thing I liked is that he would always make sure that you will be able to apply what you have learnt in the real exam.Then his preparation strategy is focused on cracking the exam. I have witnessed it first hand, even during our campus placements he would distill the essentials, focus on core concepts and the questions they can ask in the interviews. Now that he is leading the nation with his Physics prowess, I see an extension of what I had known for years.He is passionate about Physics, we have discussed JEE problems even during our college days and when we were working for a tech company in Bangalore. His passion for the subject was so visible and his grip and clarity on concepts was evident in the discussions.When our peers were switching jobs, trying out tech start ups, focussing on make big bucks. One fine day he says, mujhe Physics padhana hai, Professionally. I was like “okay, but paiso ka kya - How much will you earn as a teacher? Anyone will hire you in tech industry, pay you big bucks, will you leave this comfortable lifestyle”. He says ”I really enjoy it, I will do it and teaching shouldn’t be for making money - education should be affordable for everyone”. Fast forward to today - I feel he has done a wonderful job!Okay, now the question whether Physicswallah is better or Namo - is really subjective. I have been through this, as JEE aspirant we used to compare the best teachers. My take on such question is that choose what works better for you - it is a personal thing. It will be only you - who will have to solve a problem and mark that OMR sheet, not people on social media discussions or people on Quora. Try out and choose.Personally, I watched video lectures of both and found Namo’s lectures were more involved and could connect to his unique way of making the students visualize the problem.Hope this helps.
