I believe you are referring to 'MNRE Channel Partner'. It is not necessary to register as a Channel Partner for undertaking large scale solar projects. Channel Partner registration is only to avail subsidy by installing small solar plants as per MNRE specifications.For large scale plants, you will have to meet the technical and financial criteria of the concerned tender and the plant would have to be installed as per the tender specifications.As the question is specifically for undertaking commercial and industrial projects, so there is no need for registration as there is no subsidy available from MNRE for commercial or industrial customers for installation of solar power plants.

From the client perspective receiving bids, for comparison of technical bids we would come up with our own spreadsheets of criteria and pull the information manually from datasheets, vendor documents etc. Similar would be done for the commercial bid tab.In terms of technical documents, not all documents are provided in an easy to parse format, (especially datasheets), then in terms of information from drawings its hard to compare without looking through individual documents in detail. Also key details can be hidden in document notes. Could imagine that there are similar issues with commercial documentation.

It was like a normal discussion going on between a group of people. If you give correct answer, they will always appreciate you and in case you don't know any answer they will give you some hints.Result: Selected. Scored 14/15 in Production and my final mark is 89.80. Don't know about the score in MMO as the score card has not been published yet.Edit 1: Score card was published on 28th August and I scored 11/15 in MMO. I don't know how they gave marks in other two departments as there was a common interview for Production, Mechanical and Drilling.
