How do I boost my score for the JEE 2020 July in the last 1 month?

HiThe best way to boost your score for your upcoming JEE 2020 is to take a lot of online tests. The online tests are easily accessible and available on many Apps / Websites. The more tests you take, the more weak topics will be identified and highlighted in each attempt. Your next step will be to read through the theory and understand the conceptual mistakes which you are making in each test.Since JEE exam has become online, there are many solutions available online which can help you in a calculative manner to provide you with a feedback to help you improve your scores.I suggest the students to download and use an innovative and result driven app called YSCHOOL LEARNING APP. The app has been developed in house by a team of Educators with more than 15 years experience in the coaching industry and have been producing excellent results on a year on year basis. The app provides a lot of FREE Content for students to use likeRecorded LecturesStudy MaterialOnline TestsIn Depth AnalysisThe in depth test analysis helps you to check on the quality of the attempt and even identifies the FLUKE ATTEMPT in every test. The idea behind the whole thing is to pin point the weak topics and the quality of the attempt in each test and helps the student to improve their overall score. You can download the app from the Google Play Store and also check out their reviews before you download them.My best wishes for your preparations.RM

I have another 20 days until my CAT exam. Is it enough time to prepare? What should I absolutely do during these days to improve my speed and accuracy? Are there any websites where I can take free tests/read?

Firstly, really good that you did not take any coaching, you can do well without them.I'll keep this as short as possible, for a really detailed opinion you can go to the last link:Practice Paper: The single most important thing that'll get you through with an astounding percentile at this time.Where can I find them?IMS-SimCAT, and CL Test series should be pretty cheap and easily available through online payment. If you're done with them, go for Testfunda.com They have good analysis. How many should I give?20 days: 1 each till the last 2 days: DO NOT OVERDO, it's possible you'll fuck up in the last moment in one of these and want to give another one for satisfaction. But, remember it's just a preparation for the battle(NOT WAR). So, proper strategy is must. Analysis of attempt is way more important than just attempting. What should I try to improve?Speed and Accuracy: CAT has questions that given 15 more minutes, 10th grader can solve all of them. So, the fuss is all about speed with minimum silly mistakes. Only Practice can help you here and soon the marginal utility of practicing would not be giving enough improvements. Just stay at that level till the last day.Calculated Risk: You should get yourself familiar of taking options without solving, if you're able to eliminate even 1 option then expected result is in your favor, go with the probability, don't be scared to take risks. Sometimes, you need to go all-in to win huge pots, it's just that hand(This was Poker)*Many people might call this fluke, but there's deep logic behind this and you need practice to master this art. What else?Friends and Group: There's nothing more motivating than a healthy competition with close friends. If you can form such a group, it'll be really good, you can discuss different approaches to the same problem after giving the same practice test, pull each other's leg and have a relaxing time when other's would be pulling their hair off.Avoid Reading on Internet: As CAT will start many people will start to post their experiences and difficulty of paper, individual sections, questions, starting questions, ending questions, RCs, Verbal, DI, etc. DON"T WASTE TIME READING THOSE. Better talk with friends, family, Girlfriend/Boyfriend, Read Manga or play pokerHave the belief to score 100: Aim your arrows high, don't settle for 25 correct answers. If you think you can do more, do it.Personal TipsPaper's gonna be real easy in my opinion, so avoid practicing difficult questions, if you screw up a difficult question in practice console yourself "it's not going to be there in CAT anyways"Be prepared to attempt as many questions as you can, try this in Practice mocks.Match Fitness: CAT, JEE: They are one day games, in today's scenario you can say T20, as much cliched as it sounds, but that's what the truth is. You can prepare as much as you want, it's the day that counts. Your job is to prepared to your maximum potential. So should I not prepare at all?Woa! Let's not stretch things, the point is probability. You are increasing your chances of success from 30% to say 60%, if you are happy with 30% then no need, but if you want to reach the higher level, you need practice. Sometimes, you'll loose your hand with AA-Pre-flop-All-In, but that's what life is all about :)How much attempt is good enough for me? or What marks get what percentile?Do not even think about this question!!Go and just do your best, I know people who are really really good with Quant, but did not want to attempt more than 25 cause last year 25 correct would have meant 100 percentile, every year this figure will change. It's best to take one question at a time and not to set a mental target limiting yourself or pushing yourself. If the paper is tough, one of my senior got into IIM A with 13/13 in Quant. One of my best friends this year got a fucked up percentile with 25/25.Disclaimer: These tips are for those who are confident on their skills, if not I have talked with people and they join coaching just to gain that confidence, in that case maybe this is not the best way for you.Good Luck it's just a battle not the War. Even if you win it there's a lot left to celebrate and when you lose it, remember, there's a lot left to celebrate :)My CAT : http://blog.dharamveer.in/cat-experience/

How did autistic people realize they were autistic and what makes them so, or were they just told you were one day?

I always knew that I was “different”. I’ve always tended to “stick out” in society, and had to work hard to master social skills that come naturally to most people. My interests have always been more specialized, and narrower, than those of most other people (chess rather than sports, nonfiction rather than fiction, reading rather than partying, documentaries rather than movies, travels off the beaten track rather than to popular destinations, etc).Until fairly recently, I always attributed my differences to the fact that I was homeschooled and somewhat isolated from the mainstream. I lived in a small town in the countryside, too, so apart from my family (Mum — almost certainly a high-functioning Aspie, Dad — probably neurotypical, but an introverted one, and my sister — a neurotypical extrovert), my interaction with others was limited. I did have one friend who lived in the neighbourhood; we used to play chess quite a lot. Looking back, I always thought that was why I didn’t “gel” with mainstream society.I began to question that view a few years ago, however, when I started meeting a lot of other people who had been homeschooled in isolated environments, as I was. They seemed to lack none of the social instincts that I was deficient in, and seemed to have put no more effort than most people into acquiring social skills. So that obviously couldn’t be the explanation, or at least not the whole explanation, for why I was different. So what could it be?As a teacher, I had to deal with children who were “diagnosed” as autistic. I wasn’t “like them” (or so I thought), so the idea that I might be one of them never occurred to me. I was also close to one person whom I knew to be on the spectrum. I was quite a different character from Jennie (name changed), so, once again, the penny didn’t drop. But one day she said to me, “I think you might have a touch of it yourself,” or words to that effect. Nonsense, I responded. That can’t be.I stumbled across the Aspie Quiz and another online test. I decided to take it and compare my scores to Jennie’s — to see what a negative result would look like. I was rather surprised when this came out :That result must be a fluke, I thought. So I tried another online test I found, and got a similar result.Since then, after a lot more study, I’ve had to conclude that yes, I am almost certainly an Aspie myself. It explains a lot of things. It helps me to understand my strengths and weaknesses, and allows me to access tools to maximize the former and work around the latter. That makes it a rewarding journey of self-discovery.
