Here is me last July when I was arrested for 3 trafficking charges for methadone. I am 31, and I have been an opiate addict for 16 years. I started with OxyContin, then Dilaudid, and eventually heroin for 10 years; then I took methadone for 6 years.I went through the withdrawals in jail, with absolutely no kind of medical help. I completely broke down mentally, physically, emotionally, etc. By far the hardest thing I have ever been through, but in the end it was the best thing that could have happened to me. After spending about 4 months in there, they reduced my bonds so that I could get out on the condition I complete a year-long rehab program. I finished that in October, and although I still struggle here and there, I am so much happier and healthier without the drugs.Now, I am just awaiting my trial date to see if I will be going back to jail/prison. Sure, it definitely worries me and freaks me out, but I’m hoping for the best!I am thankful to even be alive at this point. I am 31, and as of last week I have lost 30 friends to opiate related overdoses. I enjoy and respect life too much to risk it anymore.

Improvement in 6 months in aspects:HealthDrink at least 4litre of water. Try to wake up at least 6am and drink green tea instead of coffee.Do push-ups , squats and running daily. This will replace body fat with muscle.Quit sacrificing sleep, smoking, drinking alcohol, having drugs , excessive masturbation and eating junk food.Try to meditate at least for 10minutes.
