Vietnam, we still had gasoline powered vehicles, so we did have a choice, MOGAS or diesel. Doc, our medic, was in charge of sanitation. He hired a Papa San to do the burning. If he gave Papa San MOGAS, it disappeared, so he gave him diesel.However, we were an artillery battery. We shot all night, and every morning we had to burn the powder left over from cutting charges the night before. A full charge was Charge 7 White Bag, you might shoot Charge 6, leaving you with a small bag of powder left over. If you shot Charge 5, you had more left over. Charge 1, you had a lot left over, you also had Charlie pretty close. Whatever you shot, you burned the leftover powder every morning. The feces was in cut-off 55 gallon drums that were pushed under a seat for filling, pulled out for burning.Doc experimented a little and found that if you added a certain amount of powder and a certain amount of diesel, and stirred well before lighting, the feces was burnt in a few minutes. Without to the powder, it took hours, several passes, before things were done. Doc once explained to me that if guys just wouldn't pee in there things would be better, but he thought it better not to ask.With the powder, Papa San was done in under an hour. He did the best he could, with what he had. Done in an hour, Papa San would sit against a tree smoking weed and the menthol cigarettes that Doc would give him, the rest of the day.Why is diesel used today? It’s what they have. I imagine JP4 works, also. I bet artillery batteries still get done in an hour.

Although airline pilots are a mix of military and civilian pilots, you would be hard-pressed to find anyone that made their decision based solely on cost. Judging between the lines of your question, I think that your cost for a license is the real question.Both routes to an airline profession is expensive. Both in terms of dollars and desire. There are far more pilots that have dropped by the wayside than actually find that end of the rainbow airline position.It’s doable either way. The new airline pilot shares an incredible uncompromising set of goals with his fellow new-hires that have resulted in them becoming airline pilots. They are a stubborn group.The military will demand your loyalty in defending our country. You will defend it with your life if need be. This is a decision that must be made before using it as a vehicle to the airlines.The civilian route success is generally made by becoming a flight instructor. Because flying is inherently expensive, this is the only civilian route that is paid while accumulating flight experience.Neither course to the airlines is close to being easy. It is fraught with pitfalls every step of the way. However, success stories are happening daily. The minimum requirements must be met before even thinking of taking the step of contacting an airline.Should the goal of qualifying succeed, then the next goal should be the cockpit of an airline. When a pilot is ready, the airline cockpit seat is waiting for those who are stubborn enough to get beyond the hiring process.There is not an airline pilot alive that had his job handed to him. I include myself with those who worked long and hard. My reward was 30 years with American Airlines.

A mysterious figure — dressed in a hoodie and mask, and demonstrating great fighting skills, strength, and driving abilities — is repeatedly involved in various events in the story, obstructing Dom’s efforts and otherwise serving as a nemesis for the Dom’s crew.Dom eventually confronts the company’s CEO, Biff Tannen — a tall, strong ex-football player whom Dom assumes is the mysterious hoodie-and-masked figure causing so much trouble, in what Dom thinks are the kidnappings and altered paper trails of his crew.But in a twist, Tannen reveals he’s not the one behind the strange events targeting Dom and the rest of the “fast & furious” team. No, it is Doctor Emmet Brown, who reveals he is the actual inventor of the missing vehicle, which is a time machine. Doc was aided in his mission by the mysterious hoodie-and-masked figure… Dom himself, from a future point in the timeline after Doc revealed all of this information to him. The crew members who are missing have all been taken by future-Dom and brought into the new plan, and now Dom joins the effort as well.Yes, there are now TWO DOMS on the team. And they’re gonna save the future, and fix the past. But there’s just one problem left to deal with…A rogue player is on the field now, someone convinced that every use of the time-traveling car — be it to alter the past, or to try to fix it — only serves to further disrupt the time flow, resulting in endless alternate versions of reality and complications that pile up until they could threaten to split the fabric of time-space. Even Doc’s well-intentioned efforts to set things right, this rogue player says, are ultimately wrong and must be stopped. This person has been stuck for decades in a race to locate and eliminate time travelers from BOTH sides, to stop the damage the keep doing to the time stream, and to find the car so he can destroy it.That rouge player is Marty McFly, and he’s out to kill Doc, Dom, and the rest of the team.
