For efficient utilisation of secure initiative( This is my approach and would help one to devise one’s own strategy ) -Read all the news articles attached with the Questions asked ( I did not read any newspaper apart from these articles )One should write or at least structure the answers of all the questions.If the question deals with a particular topic mentioned in syllabus or could be asked in mains like forest fires, India-US relation etc then one should form notes on the issues and topics.This way with time, syllabus topics and current issues are prepared.One should frequently revise those notes.After one gathers enough knowledge to answer questions that come in secure initiative then one should answer it within word and time limit.This way answer writing practise could be done efficiently and peer reviewing or reading answers of other aspirants helps one to understand different perspectives and dimensions.I used secure for practice and referred my secure notes and VisionIAS Mains 365 for preparing for the final exam.( Mains 365 are concise and easy to revise - after practising secure one has a better understanding of issues and topics)While utilising secure or any other source one must remember that at the end it’s about quality 200 words for every question. Gratitude and DuaWhy does the Quran call an embryo a “Blood Clot” when we know that it is a ball of stem cells?Quran uses the term, “Alaqa” for this stage. Here is an excerpt from a peer reviewed article by a medical teacher published in an accredited scientific journal:“The period begins on day 15 and is completed on day23 or 24,when the embryo gradually acquires the shape of a leech, the Arabic word “alaqah” has three meanings --- (i) Leech (ii) a suspended thing (iii) a blood clot. There is a great similarity between a fresh water leech to early embryo. Enclosed picture shows the similarity between the two. The second meaning is a suspended thing and that is what we can see the way embryo is attached to the placenta in this stage. Both these meanings describe and reflect accurately the external appearance of embryo at this stage. The third meaning –“the blood clot” describes the most important internal structure that affects the external appearance, for in alaqah stage blood is formed in the blood vessels in the form of isolated islands and the embryo resembles a blood clot descriptions are given miraculously by a single word----“Alaqah”.”(Ref: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3068791/)It is pretty comprehensive and clear.
