2013I am sitting in a conference where I am participating as debator and there I see this sophisticated cute girl with a camera, hanging out with best debators of region. As it's said “Your friends tell about your character”. She had these high class friends & she was speaking in english all the time. I never spoke in english outside debating competition so I was double minded in whether to approach her or not. I was a typical “gawaar” in front of her. She belonged from Chandigarh a city already famous for sophisticated witty beautiful girls & I belonged from Patiala a small town.Later on I connected with her on facebook to get photos of my committee she clicked in conference.Me- do u hav pics of my committee?No replyI loved my ego that much so never sent her message again.2015I joined an internship in Chandigarh & I was communicated about selection for it on my birthday onlyGot a message from herShe- Happy birthdayMe- Thanks ( because I read the message to which she didn’t reply in 2013 so gave normal reply)After 15 daysI was working for this company & needed to make people of Chandigarh fill the online survey & I sent that survey link to my contacts in Chandigarh. Including her.Me- Hey Can you fill the survey? I am actually working on this project & need some help from locals.She- SureAfter few minutesShe- You working for XYZ co. right? I am actually organizing this event & we need sponsorships for that & could you ask the manager if they have time to meet my team on this date?Me- I will surely talk to mam :)She- And on a totally unrelated note I like your photography :)( I am an amateur photographer)We found photography common topic to talk about & we talked on so many things & the chat series continued on Facebook for two weeks & we started to get inclined to each other after mild flirting.She- Hey, umm as we decided that I would hand you sponsorship proposal documents so can this meeting be a date as well?2017We completed 1.5 years on 25th December & It’s been an amazing journey with her. I am glad that our first date worked out.P.S- By coming into relationship with her my fluency in English increased a lot as she only talks in English.
