It is not a scheme, though it can feel like a racket if you’re a full timer (which I am, for 2 years now). I do make ends meet, but I would not say it’s a “living.” It is always a struggle. My “earnings” are untaxed (until April filing time—I owe IRS $5500 now). For every $100 of UNTAXED earnings, I shell out $60 in gas. Last month I had $1700 in car repairs (that I couldn’t pay for, so racked up another $1700 in debt) + lost wages (no car = no income). I also spend 50–60 hours a week sitting … this is very hard on the spine. Do not — I repeat - do NOT take this on full time unless U have another constant/reliable source of income AND an affordable & reliable car.

It wasn’t unified by religion or a special set of a secular ideology.The IRS was the main protective organization for the Roman Catholic Church (hence the name “Holy”) and a self declared successor of the classical Roman Empire ignoring the fact, the real albeit heavily transformed Roman Empire still existed at most of the time the IRS existed, then called Basileon Ton Rhomaion by its population.The power share (or organization) of the “Empire” and its member nations:On top of the IRS there was the “Roman Emperor”, the last dynasty which held this position were the Austrian Habsburg.Then, there was a kind of Reichsrat, a council which advised the Emperor and the overal politic of the Empire since it wasn’t an absolutistic state yet. This Reichsrat mostly resided in Nuremberg but was present in other cities as well.After this, there were the kings, princes, dukes and earls of the member states which enjoyed vast internal autonomies and powers. It wasn’t a nation state like Germany or France.It disbanded in 1806 under the pressure of Napoleon Bonapartes advance through the German states and Austria Hungary whose emperor has to resign every claim on the “Roman” throne, forming the Austrian-Hungarian K&K monarchy and giving room for the modern eventual unification of Germany in 1871, this time as a nation state.Oh, and the modern day European Union is more unified than the IRS regarding many institutions.
