The Navy transports Marines where they need to be. Navy Pilots participate with Marine Pilots in providing close-air-support while ships guns provide artillery support. The Air Force provides long range air support. The Army provides large scale, long term ground infantry and supporting elements. The Coast Guard protects our shores back home and for backup we have the National Guard.
