How can I stop feeling poor even though I'm not?

There is a huge difference between being prudent and being stingy. Which one are you?Being prudent is prudent! It’s good to be self reliant, and try to plan for the future. However, you have one life. And in reality, there is only this moment that exists - a second ago is gone, and a second from now it just a hope. Through no fault of your own, you may be gone before that future comes.I find the best way to feel like you’re accomplishing both goals of saving and living is to put your savings aside as soon as you’re paid. A generally reachable goal with someone with a good salary is 10% taken off every check and transferred to whatever savings vehicle makes the most sense to you. You’re already good at saving, so this should be painless for you. Of course if you want to save more, that’s OK too. Just don’t save money with disregard for your life.*eg. you only eat Kraft dinner in order to put more money aside. You are already saving money, don’t endanger your health for a bigger bank balance.Once your money has been put aside, feel free to spend what is in your current account. You know you’ve allocated your savings up front.A part of this saver mentality can be related to growing up without. Maybe it was growing up without money. It can also be from experiencing loss - a parent that doesn’t love or only loves conditionally, emotional instability from witnessing addiction, etc. Keep reminding yourself to review your life accurately. You’re already seeing that your view is skewed - so act on that knowledge. If you need counseling to overcome issues from your past, then seek that. For the motivated, even a minimal number of cognitive behavioral therapy sessions can teach you how to re-frame your situation optimally. [1]I think it’s valuable to switch your thought process from lack to appreciation. By appreciating the people, money and things you have in your life, you are paying attention to what is there, what you’ve achieved, what is real to you. You’re not measuring yourself by some fake yardstick that compares you to everybody else.Practice giving. Maybe it’s to your religious affiliation. Maybe it’s to community work, maybe it’s buying a coffee for the person behind you in the drive through. Don’t be stingy! Give of yourself and your money appropriately. And let go of perfectionism. Strive for excellence. Perfection is outwardly driven, and an ever moving goal post that can never be achieved. Excellence on the other hand, is a personal kaisen. [2] You work at developing and being your best self in a way that is harmonious with your ethics, those around you, and your society/culture. Excellence is self driven and achievable.[1] In-Depth: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy | Psych Central[2] Kaizen - Wikipedia

I don't know how to forgive and get over the people who have hurt me emotionally in the past. What are some suggestions?

Therapy.I know therapy is the stereotypical answer to anything dealing with mental and emotional struggles, but it's most often the right one. A non partial, objective voice can help you see any pieces your missing. Pieces necessary to heal and prevent repeating the cycle. This isn't to discredit the smaller methods or tools out there. Getting your feelings out on paper, in a journal or unsent letter to those affecting you, is sometimes enough. It can help in addition to other methods, too, such as counseling. Meditation helps some, as does working on forgiveness (often with religious counsel). Finding closure in a relationship, one way or another, can help, also. Cutting hopeless, toxic relationships by ceasing all contact, if you're able, can go a long way. Time should also help somewhatBack to therapy…There are so many types these days… whether you just need to get things off your chest, change your own thought process or behaviors (to recognize the whys that got you here, or why you can't move forward), or simply need to learn how to get on the right path out of despair. Counseling, cognitive behavioral therapy, or hypnotherapy, for starters. Attachment or exposure therapy can help you let go. So many options. There should be mental health options in your area, financially speaking, if you don't have insurance coverage. For me, personally, I finally started counseling (1 session in now) that the biggest healthcare provider in my state helps provide for, for those with high insurance deductibles ($4,000 is mine). It is grant program that didn't require so much as an application, sessions every other week, leaving me with a $10 deductible. Even beyond that, my therapist chooses to put mental health first and refuses that copay with all patients. I live in a small city/big town (no stoplight), so it's not even an area with a lot of resources at my disposal.I hope you find the best way for you to get past what it is you're facing.

Can anyone correct me from my feeling that I am more intelligent than anyone around me as this will seriously affect my success and peace?

PLease consult a psychologist and seek professional help (not a joke)Grandiose delusions (GD), delusions of grandeur, expansive delusionsor megalomania are a subtype of delusion that occur in patients suffering from a wide range of psychiatric diseases, including two-thirds of patients in manic state of bipolar disorder, half of those with schizophrenia, patients with the grandiose subtype of delusional disorder, and a substantial portion of those with substance abuse disorders.GDs are characterized by fantastical beliefs that one is famous, omnipotent, wealthy, or otherwise very powerful. The delusions are generally fantastic and typically have a religious, science fictional, or supernatural theme. There is a relative lack of research into GD, in contrast to persecutory delusions and auditory hallucinations. About 10% of healthy people experience grandiose thoughts but do not meet full criteria for a diagnosis of GD.According to the DSM-IV-TR diagnostic criteria for delusional disorders, grandiose-type symptoms include grossly exaggerated beliefs of:self-worthpower[7]knowledgeidentityexceptional relationship to a divinity or famous person.[8]For example, a patient who has fictitious beliefs about his or her power or authority may believe himself or herself to be a ruling monarch who deserves to be treated like royalty. There are substantial differences in the degree of grandiosity linked with grandiose delusions in different patients. Some patients believe they are God, the Queen of England, a president's son, a famous rock star, and so on. Others are not as expansive and think they are skilled sports-persons or great inventors.Delusions of Grandeur TreatmentThose that experience grandiose delusions may be treated with medication, therapy, and/or other medical intervention. If there is a specific condition that is causing the delusions (e.g. Parkinson’s), steps are generally taken to treat that condition rather than the delusional symptoms. Therapy is thought to be more effective for some individuals than others.Antipsychotics: Among those with schizophrenia, antipsychotics may be the preferred option for treating delusions of grandeur. These drugs work as dopamine antagonists, decreasing dopaminergic activation in the brain. In many cases, these will simultaneously minimize both delusions and any associated hallucinations.CBT: In some cases, CBT or cognitive behavioral therapy is used to help individuals cope with grandiose delusions. In a therapy session, a psychotherapist may use a technique known as “inference chaining.” This is a questioning tool that uses rationality and logic to help combat the delusional perception. Another technique known as “thought linkage” involves a therapist continuously asking a patient to explain jumping from thought-to-thought.Hospitalization: In cases where an individual may experience grandiose delusions as a result of drug abuse, hospitalization may be required to address physical symptoms. During this time a professional psychotherapist may attempt to address some of the delusions that are experienced until the individual comes down from their “high.”Mood stabilizers: Drugs that stabilize mood may be effective to treat delusions of grandeur among those with bipolar disorder. An example of a mood stabilizer is that of Lithium – a drug that works to prevent manic highs and depressive lows. By stabilizing the mood, an individual is less prone to experiencing mania induced grandiosity.Treating underlying medical condition: Any other medical condition such as a neurodegenerative disease, vitamin deficiency, tumor, or thyroid problem may contribute to delusions of grandeur. Once the medical condition is effectively treated, the delusions generally subside.Grandiose delusions - WikipediaDelusions Of Grandeur: Causes, Symptoms, Treatment

It was a wonderful experience with CocoDoc. I purchased Dr.Fone a year back which was a great tool for shifting my stuff. While purchasing I did not notice automatic payment method and a year later it was automatically deducted which I didn't want. I approached their support team. Ms. Flora was so kind to consider my request for subscription cancelation and arranged refund on the same day. My whole hearted appreciations to CocoDoc Support Team and Ms. Flora in special. Thanks once again team. Wishing a great future for CocoDoc.
