His mastery was even complemented by Starrk…Kyoraku also excels in Hakuda. Just a finger tap…With 90/100 in Flash step, his speed, reflexes and proficiency are also incredible…. So much that Yamamoto takes the time to praise him!His Kido ability is also at the level of a MASTER… 100/100. (1) This means that he can casually use the magical spells including binding, sealing, barriers, deflection, telekinesis, completely hiding his spiritual energy from sensing, make himself invisible by bending light away from himself, shoot energy blasts, track targets into other dimensions, etc.(2) He can modify these spells quite casually to alter their range, power, shape, utility, etc. For example, he can make his attacks invisible by weaving Kido together.(3) He can create his own spells.In the war he used Hado# 78 against Lille Barro without incantation…With perfect Kido mastery, he also has perfect Reiatsu control. I have been asked to write an answer. I am thrilled to read a fantastic and positive reply by one of the freshers who has been in the campus for the past 20 days. It is a very great challenge to provide the facilities for the 50 year old campus. In addition , Trichy is always hot throughout the year. 800 acres campus with very few trees and bushes everywhere with water and power scarcity was giving a terrific picture five years back.. The compound wall running to kilometers was knocked off due to road widening , posing security threats. Many buildings were under semifinished stage of construction . There are hundreds of cattle and dogs which make life uncomfortable in the campus. Of course the campus belonged to them originally. A Brand Image survey was carried out with feedback from students,alumni,faculty,industry and government agencies focussing on SWOT analysis. While revealing a number of issues to be tackled, the survey clearly brought out that the campus is not student friendly. We landed in a situation where we had electricity for 4 to 5 hours a day and this resulted in shortage of water supply. At one stage, the whole campus housing around seven thousand students and three thousand faculty and nonteaching residents went without water for three consecutive days. We called for an emergency meeting with all students. If we close the campus, we would have been able to reopen within 40 days since the students were all from far off places. Together we worked out a crisis plan. Diesel generators were hired and positioned at different locations . Even this activity took more than 2 months since ,as a Government institution ,we had to follow the procedures and the students were extremely accommodative and supportive. This revealed a great strategy to involve students in all the activities. We reorganised the administrative structure involving a number of young faculty to work along with the student teams , to identify the areas of making student life comfortable. The Student Council took the lead and formed multiple task teams and clubs. WiFi became a reality after a very long trials especially because of large area and building obstructions. Leap club went ahead activities pertaining to make the campus green.Covered road shelters and avenues provided comfort especially for the girls cycling from Opal Hostels. Solar panels provided additional power. A dedicated substation has come within the campus. The strong compound wall with professional security provided additional comfort. Provision of round the clock emergency ambulance fitted with life saving devices helped patients during their rush to far off hospitals in the city. Water recycling helped in conservation. The architectural students redesigned a proposal for a park to long avenues with sitting benches and pathways. The project once executed has made many happy ,including the visitors to the campus . Another group of highly motivated students clicked the photographs of natural beauty of the campus. We discovered that the campus is having more than 100 varieties of thousands of birds, peacock etc. We brought out a book on Incredible NIT with these photographs which was released by the Honourable President of India.Alumni group plunged into the scene and added their contribution. The MiG aircraft gifted by Airforce due to a great contribution of one of our Distinguished Alumni got seated on a pedastal to be converted into a student plaza. Another group renovated the old temple in the campus.The student teams working along with the Hostel Advisory Council made a remarkable change in outlook bringing in multiple menus satisfying requirements of students coming from different places. A major initiative was to aircondition the Barn Hall where earlier dances and performances were witnessed by uncomfortable sweating crowd.Cultural festivals are now held in a very big hall accomodating highly charged thousands of students during performances. Presence of Cafe Coffee Day and leading service stalls brought in by students received appreciation. We could develop over 20 sports fields for playing and hosted inter NIT sports accommodating more than thousand sports students from all over India twice on consecutive years. Children’s parks have come up.Of course the path was full of thorns. We disrupted the system by making changes. Changes are very difficult to execute. A group of frustrated faculty demonstrated that the money was wasted on the nonacdemic activities. They did not realise that the Government of India supported us in a very big way for setting up of research facilities and transforming the academic system. Student groups faced issues when they drastically changed the caterers.Students deserve a good and decent life inside the campus. While it is possible to build a new campus today, it is very difficult to renovate the old one.When I left the campus, I proudly viewed from above travelling in the air, a well illuminated campus with the clock tower providing a landmark identification of the campus. The clock which was once criticised for showing correct time twice a day has become a center of attraction with its ringing sound preceded by an announcement ‘We are proud to welcome you to NIT ‘ followed by Jai Hind. Every day we witness the flag hoisting and lowering at 6am and 6pm done in a very professional way by the Security team with the corresponding army beagle trumpet when everybody stands in respect.It is possible to live cool even in a hot place, provided we work and learn together.
