PDF Editor FAQ

Is ZF Friedrichshafen a good company to work with?

NO.I have been designing differentials, drivelines, 4WDs and suspension systems over the last 50 years - including some world firsts (1st1Dpm4WD, 1st2dpm4wd, first 1MPindsuspsystem42W,).Mr Peter Frank,The Public Prosecutor General, Federal Court of Justice, Federal Republic of Germany, Karlsruhe, GERMANY.P. O. Box 7,Ban Amphur,Chonburi,THAILAND 20250COMPLAINTAward winning Australian inventor cheated by 40 billion Euro company 'ZF FRAUDrichshafen'.- More German Auto Industry Fraud -Dear Mr Frank,I am an Australian inventor & industrial designer. I manufacture some of my inventions in Thailand. My training and experience is in automotive design, with Leyland Australia, and the University of New South Wales. I have been inventing since the early 1960s, and full time for nearly 50 years. Many of my inventions have been for motor vehicles, particularly of motor vehicle suspensions, differentials, drivelines & 4WD systems. One of our inventions is a very good EV Driveline, or 'eAxle'; a prototype is ready to go into a car. Other inventions are for healthcare, and for the environment; including ameliorating the effects of anthropometric global warming. I am 1,000 tons CO2 negative over the last 10 years, with a few neighbours using another invention of mine - a cooker. This is in relation to events in the recent past between myself and the company ZF Friedrichshafen AG of Friedrichshafen, Germany.1) In March 2018 ZF Friedrichshafen AG (ZF) announced an 'Electric Innovation Challenge 2018' competition;2) This competition had a prize of €100,000, for each of;• the best EV Motor,• the best EV Controller; and• the best eAxle; Total €300,000. 'We are looking for great ideas', & 'A jury of representatives from the ZF E-Mobility division will select the the most innovative ideas' reads the promo.3) ZF did not specify any requirement to be a German speaker, or German or EU national. - 'We are looking forward to each and every presentation')4) We sent our entry in, timely, advising that it was confidential, and that no rights were transferred by the mere entry into the competition. Of course, it was the intention that rights would be negotiated after, as we had entered the competition in good faith to mutually benefit both ZF and myself, if desired, after their appraisal of the driveline.5) Shortly after I sent my entry in on 18th May, 2018 (i.e. on the same day) I got a reply,‘Brilliant, Stuart! OK, we will check the other entries & get back to you’6)On the 6th of July, 2018, I was advised; 'sorry, you have not been successful in the 'eAxis' division'(NOTE - THEIR CHANGE OF NAME - AFTER COMPETITION CLOSING!!!)7) So I replied "who won the eAxle division?" and was answered “Freudenberg KG won the eAxis with new ideas for cooling an electric motor”We do not accept ZF withdrawing the eAxle prize without advice, and compensation to worthy contestants who had already entered, by firstly changing the name (to 'eAxis') and secondly granting that prize to a totally different category, 'ideas for cooling an electric motor'.'New ideas for cooling electric motors' can only score ZERO for 'Degree of Efficiency', 'Performance', 'Miniaturisation / Space', 'Lightweight Construction', 'Industrial Process Technology', Software', & 'Data Driven Business Model', when evaluated as an 'eAxle'.According to ZF's own score sheet, our driveline beats all other drivelines - existing and (known) proposed. By our estimation*, our driveline scores 100% for each of 'Degree of Efficiency', • 'Performance', • 'Miniaturisation / Space', • 'Lightweight Construction', simply by being the best possible in each of those categories; better than anything else on the road, or proposed. e.g. it is not possible to have fewer moving parts, for a drive for two wheels. It is often said (by others) to be impossible when the feature set is described, without drawings.*I would welcome an independent 3rd party (confidential) appraisal of my invention, viewed with respect to the criteria of the ZF score sheet.Note; this is not a case of 'My eAxle is better than your eAxle';It is a case of 'My eAxle IS an eAxle,Freudenberg KGs' 'ideas for cooling an electric motor' IS NOT an 'eAxle'.Our driveline is not just an idea; a prototype has been built and it was available to ZF. That it has not yet been fitted to a vehicle is due to the my full time occupation; manufacturing my other inventions. With our prototype, it would have not been difficult to produce a functional vehicle within 90 days, per the competition rules. No better EV driveline / eAxle exists than ours. All the requirements were fulfilled; ZF were provided with design of a driveline which in design and performance exceeds any other EV driveline; Less than 1⁄2 the friction, less than 1⁄2 the weight, less than 1⁄2 the cost, but inherently stronger and which takes much less room. As aforementioned, prototype has been built already & was available for viewing, upon request.Advice to Freudenberg KG that they were the beneficiaries of a fraud perpetrated against me gained no response. We demand this travesty, this gross breach of the terms of Germanys unconditional surrender, be rectified forthwith to obviate further action.Stuart Saunders. Stuart21@mac.com........................................................................................................................P.S. I am at my wits end. I have had this kind of treatment from the IP mafia for near 50 years now; it is industry wide, not just ZF. Philips, Sony, Johnson & Johnson, Intel, & many, many others absolutely refuse to deal honestly with inventors. Many companies engage in ‘inventor baiting’. My credit card dental floss (‘FlossFirst’, 50M PTFE or Nylon floss, 4mm ‘thin’) is recognised as the 'Rolls Royce' of Floss packs - Always gets a medal, sometimes a Gold, for “Best New Health Invention” in invention exhibitions.I was warned by a co. insider not to deal with Johnson and Johnson; ‘They will talk and talk and talk and talk - then nothing’.Got desperate at one point, when floss was just underway in Taiwan, but needed more orders/ cash flow - spoke with Bob GM of J&J Taiwan. Talked and talked and talked - big quantities, always ‘next week’ or ‘next month’ - just as co insider predicted. Eventually I asked GM if he could arrange a meeting with New Jersey HQ - he gave me a phone number, & said ‘call them when you get to NY’.So I scraped up last available cash from family and friends (not easy!), & got on a plane & flew half way round the world.Called that number in the morning.Oh, I’m sorry, we don’t have time to meet you’My Father was devastated by this deliberate sabotage. As was I.The European Patent Office in Munich stole my 1982 Qld Inventor of the Year Award winning invention, by denying it a patent, saying “as there are no technical impediments to the implementation of your invention, it is therefore not unobvious” - conveniently overlooking the fact that patents - are required by law - to be written such that ‘there are no technical impediments to their implementation’, in order to be valid! That invalid invalidation bankrupted me, bankrupted my father, and killed him. He had a stroke when the bank foreclosed on his farm, which he had used as security for the R & D budget for the Inventor of the Year winner. His stroke did not kill him immediately, but that was the end of his productive life. He didn't say much after his - except to say that 'the stupidest thing he ever did was to back my 'Inventor of the Year' winning invention.' I can only agree.- Be warned, inventors families -If anybody can tell me WTF is going on, please do so. You might just help save a life, or help save the planet. Many of my inventions, inc. eAxle, have been focused on CO2 amelioration. It will reduce EV energy consumption by ~ 15 - 20% & make EVs much cheaper. It is not for no reason that I have owned the domain name 'http://www.fuckedplanet.org', for the last 20 years. A '74 invention would have reduced CO2 from Fossil fuels & commuting by 50%. Media would not print that invention; still on the 'back burner'.Atmospheric CO2 then ('74) was ~ 325 ppm, now ~ 420ppm-Stat Decs to veracity of above available - [email protected] - DO NOT TRUST ZF FRAUDRICHSCHAFEN!
