I’ll probably give it to the 2001 team. They essentially kept their core from the championship team the year before and added Z-Bo. They played well all year despite the shlacking they took from Arizona. I almost gave it to the 1999 team since their Final Four was more competitive, but a lot of those guys from 1999 are older and more experienced in 2001 and then they had brought in a future NBA All-Star.

Lew Alcindor, aka Kareem Abdul-Jabbar seems to be the fan favorite as greatest college basketball player of all time. And while Kareem was obviously great both as a college and an NBA player, it should be noted that the John Wooden led UCLA teams had multiple future NBA and ABA players on their roster. Guys like Lucius Allen, Curtis Rowe, Lynn Shackelford, etc. That’s not to undermine Kareem. But his play-making ability benefited substantially as a result from a strong revolving cast of top players not to mention a wizard of a coach in Wooden. Therefore, Kareem to me would be the second best college player.The greatest college player of all-time is Larry Bird, who took a rather unknown Indiana State that was never a contender and got them to the national championship to play Michigan State. This was a team that basically had no perennial college all-stars with the exception of Carl Nicks (who played in the NBA for 3 seasons). But it was more than just taking this team to a National Championship which made Bird special:The 1978–1979 Indiana State runner-up finalist was led by 1st year head coach Bill Hodge. Unless your team is loaded with McDonald All-Americans (and then some) its extremely difficult for a new coach to take a team that far into the tournament unless you have someone special.The 1978–1979 Indiana State is the only Missouri Valley Conference team in history to have ever earned a #1 seed.Indiana State in the 1978–1979 season lost only one game—and that was the final championship game to Magic Johnson’s Michigan State Spartans.Bird averaged 29 points and 14 rebounds during the 1978–1979 regular season. This was after the 1977–1978 season in which he averaged 30 points and 11 rebounds. Bird has the 5th best PPG average in college history. And that’s in 3 years.I understand Kareem and Bill Walton are considered the greatest and placing them at 1 & 2 respectively is most probable. But Kareem and Walton had a talented support staff. They played with athletes; guys who could have been the top dogs at any Division 1 school. Bird by that argument, literally had no one and the Sycamores knew that. To put your faith into one player who leads you to the national title, which the University has never been able to replicate (not even close) is a testament to Bird’s ability to create plays, make points and take charge. I can’t think of another player in college with such adversity who got his team national recognition.

Gym routine is more based on Goal rather than your height.first how tall are you ? if you are above 6.6 it would be good to go for more lean and athletic body rather than bulking upinclude : cycling , running , dips , power sets , sit ups , crossfit , spartan sets , power sets of light weights for different body part. reason is bulking up will make your reflexes more slower. as a very tall guy with that height can have a bright future in basketball and other sports.if you are below 6.6 , you can go with bulking up and body building.include : training each body part one day , doing more core exercises , power lifting, dead lifting , bench press , shrugs , squats etcagain it all depends on your goal , your present body stats , your eating habits , your stamina and remember age is just a number !! cheers
